Excellent experience! Building was built in the 18 hundred, and it is situated just next to St. Stephen Church and Liberty Square and 5 minutes walk to the Parliament and Chain Bridge. Stepping through the big gates you'll discover all the charm of an old building with thick walls, high ceilings, an interior garden, and a big room designed to offer you all the comfort. Ghida is well determined to make you feel at home. She's always ready to help, and she'll recommend the best cafes, restaurants, and places worth seeing. I couldn't hope for a better stay, thank you Ghida!

The property has the perfect location for exploring the city. Marta is great host, she provided everything we needed. The apartment is equipped, towels, sugar coffee etc. For the value of the money, having in mind the prices of accommodation in Budapest this apartment is great ! Small things could be done for the apartment to be 10/10, and I would visit again…

The unpleasant smell of humidity is strong, due to the old building and the location (ground floor)… A better job of cleaning the apartment could be done, (there were small man hairs in the toilet and hairs in the living room)…

Extremely friendly host. Who made us feel at home from the very beginning. We booked late and arrived early and could even choose the room. The host prepared personally breakfast for us since other locations had already closed. Breakfast and the very laid back garden was amazing. We would definitely come back next time.

Good location, reception and hotel entrance and general areas nice. Nice hotel, if you are lucky enough to get housekeeping service (which you pay for in a hotel).

Room mostly clean on arrival, even though we got a room to the back, looking at a wall of the hotel. Bathtub shower, very slippery. Asked for anti-slip mat, was promised for the next morning. Not only did we not get the shower mat but housekeeping did not clean the room once (we stayed for three nights). One day housekeeping must have entered the room, removed two used mugs, left dirty glasses right next to them, left rubbish in room and bathroom, beds were not touched at all and no clean towels. Complained about missing cleaning service, were told „we can try and find someone to bring clean towels“ at 6 pm!! Received credit to parking but that does not eliminate the fact that we booked a hotel because we did not want to do our own cleaning.

Oh boy, my worst nightmare when travelling and having to sleep overnight during transit is to have those people as hotel/room neighbours which do not give a damn about respecting sleeping hours so in general uneducated people. It's partially also the staff to blame that they do not take measures against such people. Imagine traveling with a 7month old baby and at 22:30 someone decides to exit their own room and talk on the phone in front of your room on speaker ! Laughing and generally being very loud. Thanks to this bad experience, I'll never again choose this place.

the flat needs a good clean with all kitchen surfaces being sticky on arrival and clumps of hair on the floors and cobwebs on the ceiling. The lighting is terrible within the bedroom and living room and we were unable to read in the evenings. The washing machine was very rusty on the outside and mouldy on the inside and it then turned out it was not working at all. The shower leaks onto the floor and essentials like toilet paper or washing up liquid were not provided although advertised as essentials being available. The kitchen utensils were dirty and some unusable. Would not recommend this place.
