It is a small family run place. Staff was super nice and helpful. It was traditional Japanese breakfast, absolutely delicious!!! Rooms were big and spacious. Clean towels everyday. There were jukatas and kimonos to wear at the property.

The whole place is quite run down. The Onsen was quite old and smelly (maybe from the natural water). The outside onsen was full of leaves.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. We slept very good and there is everything you need. There is a big supermarket nearby and it’s a short walking distance to the odawara train station. We had a really good time.

The water is originally sulfur fresh. The outdoor onsen was nice and clean. Unfortunately the sauna was broken and the laydown onsen was not working. And the smoking area is pretty far from the second floor.

The smoking area requires some effort. The entrance closes at 12 a.m. This is a typical hotel in Inaka. You may not go out after 12.

The information system for the guests is rich and organized. The location is top. The hotel was quite.

Staff's attitude; although they follow the Japanese codes of showing politeness, but that looked fake and at least one staff was not helpful at all. We had a medical situation with no access to the phone and lots of language barriers. We asked her to give a phone call to a hospital to ask one questions for us ... all she could give us was to type in her laptop translator: "Sorry, I cannot do that for you."

We stayed for 9 days and the breakfast buffet area is small and no variation for the whole 9 days.

Hope they change the breakfast menu everyday. My husband stayed in the hotel for 2 days due to his eyes. The room is so dusty that his eyes got infected and need to stay and rest. My eyes got infected also because I clean the headboard and some parts of the room because its really dusty. Hope they use vacuum even under the bed floor so DUSTY!

Pictures are well taken but it does not reflect reality, room is quite small and packed with beds. It seems full of light on pictures but it is actually a ground floor room with a direct view over the street. There is a lot of noise between rooms Check in process is a real pain, asking way too much questions, this is not expected from a simple appart hotel, you shall reevaluate this part.
