Great location! I personally prefer the smaller stations as they are not as large / hectic. It does add a little longer to your daily commute but overall it's pretty good. Good value for money. Large room for the price. Walking distance to Tokyo Tower and teamLab Borderless which was awesome! There's a nice street behind the hotel during the Sakura season which is absolutely beautiful. I personally thought it was better than the Meguro River view seeing as it's nowhere near as crowded.

Location, location, location. 2 second walk from station. 15 mins walk from the main Shinjuku station (if you need). Staff amazing. Helped me fix my bag and found a pay phone for me. Small room but for solo traveller and for 10,000 yen - brilliant really! Bed soft, pillow not all that…is the only bad thing I can say.

Dormy Inn Premium Wakayama Natural Hot Spring

Very close to the train station. There are many good restaurant around the hotel. Hot Spring was quite confortable. You will have one bottle of water free of charge for one person for one night free of charge. Half size of Ramen was also served in the hotel restaurant as late-night snacks free of charge.

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ginza Sanchome

Check in was quick and efficient, staff looked after bags while we waited for check in and had a look around Ginza and the surrounding area. Free amenities as well, so tea, razors, toothbrush were free in the lobby. Laundry was 500 yen for a wash.

Bed wasn't very comfortable though, room on the small side, and very warm at night, air con required. Cleaner left a couple of towels they'd used in our room 1st night, wasn't much of a problem though. Area goes a bit too quiet too early. Not many TV channels either but I think that is Japan all over in most hotels.

Best Western Plus Hotel Fino Osaka Kitahama

Great location near Kitahama station and Yodayabashi station. It's a pretty quiet area, seems like a business district so it's a great place to be after a hectic day walking around Osaka. Good value for money!

Great outdoor onsen. Also have relaxation area and massage sofas and also nintendo games. Located in a beautiful area.

Good location in Hiroshima. Nicely renovated. Room was a traditional japanese room (futon beds).

A little annoyed that we paid for 5 people but because it was a room for 4 people + infant, they still made us pay for breakfast for our 4 year old. Breakfast was 22000JPY which the 4 year old ate approximately 2 mouthfuls of each day.

The woman who owns the hostel did not all allow us to leave the hostel until 7 am which is inappropriate. She requested that we leave at 7 am the earliest and give her the keys ( even though we were staying for 3 days we still had to give her the keys from our room back when we were going out). On the first day we told her that we want to leave the hostel at 6 am because we were going hiking, so she woke up earlier to collect the keys, but after she saw us sitting and talking until 6:30 she became angry and started screaming that we did leave at 6 am as we said and she had to wake up early for this. On the second day we left our keys on the fridge in the common area and went to the car at 6 am without telling her. She saw us, ran to the car and started screaming at us and saying that we are bad and we cannot leave until 7 am. We left and didn't come back, even though we payed for 3 nights.
