We loved everything about this hotel. The grounds are stunning--you are actually in the rain forest! The staff was very attentive to all of our needs, and even knew our names by the second day. The wildlife is right at your door--howler monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds everywhere.

For a 5-star room, it lacks some essential facilities: clothes dryer, make-up mirror, towel rack. The quality of the food (including breakfast) can definitely be improved.

We had a very beautiful, large and romantic room with the jungle view. We have seen Thanks for the happy birthday wish!

It’s about 25 to town, so very remote. The “hot springs” are misleading. There are a series of rock pools that are warm, not hot and are not fed from hot springs. Still fun to be in and the pools are next to the bar.

Amazing eco resort with lush surroundings. Everything is top notch from the cabins to the food. There is a river slide, waterfall hike, gorgeous surroundings.

It is a loooomg commute to get to property and roads are rough. Be prepared and pack the Dramamine!!

We flew into Liberia and the next day Chachagua had their Car waiting for us with josimal who was a wonderful driver and super nice...it was amazing going through the mountains and seeing how much greener the whole forest keep turning..it was a long ride but felt short just looking at everything. Once we got there we fell this was the beginning of a wonderful trip..Brayan welcomed us at the front desk and took us for the welcome drink at the restaurant by the beautiful Natural Hot Springs. we had a snack and then went to our beautiful Bungalow with two nice comfortable beds, nice bathroom, closets, and an amazing very private deck with seats and a hammock all sorrunded by beautiful vegetation...lots of birds and Guatins. We stayed here 8 nights and were able to explore every trail..we found the Cappuchin monkeys, howlers, birds, bats, guatins ...it was living inside the rainforest. We also enjoyed going to the river and having a few beers there while we bathed...All the staff were super nice..our clean boy Josue was always smiling and did an amazing job with cleaning the room and giving us things we needed like extra coffee or towels. All the waiters and bartenders were amazing, Arlen, Jeffrey,Anthony, Keylin, Krystel,Manuel and the hostess Nicole... even Ricardo the guy that cleans the pool was great.. they changed the water twice a week because they use natural water and no chemicals.. Johnnie at the front desk was also great and helpful. glad we had enough time to enjoy this wonderful place and can not wait to come back. Alex and ted.

What an amazing and special place to stay. Customer service was exceptional and arrival felt very special. Literally you are in the middle of the rainforest. The hot springs were amazing and our son kept asking why we werent staying longer. The lodge was very beautiful indeed and felt very sheltered from others gaze. The amenities in our lodge and elsewhere were fabulous. Amazing food! Relaxed and atmospheric. We did a walk of the expansive grounds which are also very impressive.

Rooms were rather dark inside, but otherwise very nice - good bed, spacious, modern.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Several warm pools for soaking and sipping a cocktail. Slides into one pool and the river. Big room with nice terrace (with outdoor bed and hammock, plus jacuzzi that we didn’t try. Set perfectly into the rainforest, with monkeys, birds, amazing wildlife. A wonderful end to a wonderful trip to Costa Rica.

Restaurant menu could have more variety. I would have liked to see more fruit in the morning and something more in the way of salad options in the evening. Overall, not a complaint, but a suggestion.

The slide into the river and natural swimming area in the river was awesome. Nature hike with Neney, who was very knowledgeable about the rain forest around us. Each cabin has a covered outdoor space with comfortable seating and hammock - enjoyed time relaxing there. Beds were comfortable. Restaurant staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Arlen. The resort is away from the heavily touristed areas around La Fortuna.
