Forget reading reviews at other hotels and weighing your options--do yourself a favour and just stay here. It is amazing, clean, your bungalows are comfortable. Each has a great back porch with sitting area directly facing the volcano. Food was excellent--the buffet breakfast was exceptional, and dinner and room service options were delicious, quality and value for money

Nice place, top located infront of volcano arenal. Friendly staff and super cared. I just can recommend to book Lomas the Volcan for you La Fortuna trip.

Beautiful location and amenities. The staff was wonderful, the grounds were beautiful, the food was delicious. Loved the porch on the house.

We noticed that the flooring in the bungalow goes from the front porch through the bungalow and out to the back porch. No threshold so little buggies can come in under the door. Other than that it is really is beautiful. The other things is finding a place to charge electronics. iPhone, iWatch, camera batteries and Kindle.

This place is beautiful. Great restaurant and beautiful location. All of the staff are very pleasant and ready to help you have a wonderful time. Very near all of the points of interest. The bungalows are beautiful and you have a great deal of privacy. The hot tub on the patio is situated so that you do not see anyone else on property and they do not see you. The property is very nature friendly and you can enjoy all of the birds that come to visit when you sit on your patio. Absolutely lovely. I recommend this property to any one.

The food was pretty average and didn't compare to the quality of our accommodations.

We had a fabulous stay! Views and accommodations were amazing. Loved the omlette lady! Most of the staff were 👌 friendly and helpful.

The hot tub was more like a warm tub. We also didn’t have any hot water to our showers.

The how breakfast buffet was really good. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly

Private bungalows within a lush landscape with spectacular views of the Volcano. Wonderful amenities such as fine and casual dining in an elegant atmosphere, beautiful pool and spa, and gracious and accommodating staff. In particular, I'd like to give a shout out to Robert at the tour desk. He described and quickly arranged two marvelous tours for us, which exceeded our expectations. Plus, this property is close-in to everything and includes breakfast. A very good value for all that it afforded us. Gary

Loved the large bedroom and bathroom, and shower was terrific! I had to get down on my belly to use the room safe every day… I’d suggest raising the level of the safes. Breakfast buffet was included but offerings were so-so. Loved the omelette station, but breads and rolls were dry. Sweet breads and cakes were good as was the fresh fruit. I would have liked more choices on the room service menu. Pizza was straight up bad, chicken fajitas were pretty good. I had to order French fries separately than hamburger which made that meal expensive, but tasty. I was really disappointed Uber Eats did NOT serve this location… it may be because of the steep, long road up to hotel. ( Uber Eats is a Costa Rica blessing if you’re wiped out from an energetic day or long flights.) Room service was fast. LOVED LOVED LOVED the rain noise on the roof and sounds of birds. Coffee is to die for!

by far the best thing was the nature walk. after that the plants and cabins made you feel really secluded and amongst the forest

Very charming hotel with a fantastic location. The morning breakfast was wonderful and the room we had was very comfortable and romantic. The staff was very friendly and the grounds were immaculate.
