The booking process was confusing and they told us we would be on the ground floor because we were bringing our cat. But then they put us on the first floor, which made it difficult for her to go out like we would have liked. We booked here specifically because their site says they allow cats, but then I received a message saying actually cats are not allowed so our cat better be well behaved. They need to make sure their listing is accurate and that all their staff understand the rules. We couldn’t get dinner at their restaurant because we hadn’t booked in advance. The hotel across the street had a great restaurant we went to twice.

There were a hidden fees, we thought that we paid everything via Booking.com, but when I checked in they said I have to pay 100 KČ (4 EUR0) as an accommodation tax!!

I washed brown dirt off the shower wall. The minibar was dirty inside. The shower is little damaged (wrong use), but it is not visible in the pictures on the booking. There are indeed problems with warm water.

Very good location (for tours). Very kind, helpful and patient people. Calm, quiet place (yes the walls are thin but we didn't experience any noise on the 2.floor). Breakfast is good and enough. The restaurant (breakfast room also) is just 1 minute walk from the house. I think this restaurant has been open the longest. Most restaurants in Hrensko sent us off at 20:00-20:30. This place closes at 22:00. The view is beautiful, the sound of nature is very good. The bed is also quite comfortable, the mattresses are not old.

Only issue was the bed linen, wich was dirty, with dust and hair from previous guests. I complained at the reception desk - as issues may happen even with the smartest cleaning staff - but I received no attention. He said he couldn't do anything, as it was not possible to get clean linen at that time. I had to take a dirty pillow and bring it down to the receptionist, who finally got clean linen - what was not possible 15 minutes before. I booked a small room, as we're only a couple, but the small room is really small. There's not place for two suitcases around the bed. You must take this into consideration when you book such a room.

Beautiful and well-located place, very calm, immersed in nature. If you have a car, it's easy to visit the different points of the park. In October the restaurant of the hotel was the only option in the region, but it's a good one, with reasonable prices, we had no need to go elsewhere. The breakfast is fantastic, with several items always replaced by dilligent and nice employees.

In the restaurant that belongs to the hotel the food was great. But we were told that the card terminal doesn’t work so we have to pay in cash. As we didn’t have cash we convinced the waitress to try the card terminal. And it worked without any issues. Next day the guy didn’t let us try. We could pay in EUR instead of CZK but of course with an extra fee of more than 15%! So better bring CZK if you want to dine.

In the middle of nowhere. Great to start hiking tours also close to the boarder, Königstein and other great spots in the Sächsische Schweiz.

We stayed in a comfy room on the first floor of the hotel that’s located beyond all the tourist hassle closer to the Elbe river. Room was clean and had a small kitchen corner with water cooker and fridge that functioned as mini-bar. Breakfast was very diverse and tasty. Around hotel are many beautiful hiking paths. Because of the recent forest fires some paths were closed but there were enough alternatives. Also nice surprise that this area doesn’t have street lights which means dark nights and starry skies.

Cobwebs at the corners of the doors and windows spoiled my general impression of the place. Apart from that it was very clean.

Good location, and a nice breakfast with a good selection of fruits. Being able to listen to the music while being in the bathroom is fabulous. Don't miss to visit the restaurant, great quality at affordable prices.

The curtains in the cabin are too light, so the room gets very bright in the morning. So bring your own eye masks if you want to sleep in. It will be nice to have an insect screen on the balcony.

The location is great, right next to hiking route. The surrounding is quiet.

there was no toilet paper in our room after check in, hot water stopped while taking a shower! The reception desk is closed after 7pm, not even via telephone! The next day, I asked the reception desk about the bus line 438, she did not seem to know anything. and we figured out that line 441 is free to take you around!

The property was lovely and if there’s anything to change, it’ll be to include larger mugs in the rooms as the cups for coffee/tea were pretty tiny. For dog owners : you would need to muzzle up your dog if you were to eat at the on-site restaurant as well.

We loved how quiet it was, perfect place for our dog to chill with us on the terrace and the grass in front of our room as well.
