We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SwedenNot really sure I liked the sense of humor in the messages on for instance some stickers in the room. It wasn't too bad, maybe I'm just getting old. Some of the reception desk staff didn't speak English very well which can be challenging when your own German isn't very good. I was surprised we couldn't pay the rooms with a credit card at the hotel. However they charged my card afterwards since I shared my card no. when booking the stay, so not a problem in the end.
The room and all the other areas I saw was clean and in good condition. Breakfast was good, with all the basics needed. The staff was kind and stayed 15 minutes after they closed the reception desk to let us in, since we had unfortunately been delayed. The gym was better than I expected. It had equipment for cardio as well as strength/weight training.

SerbiaHotel is probably pet friendly, which is probably the reason why the room didn't feel so fresh when we checked in, even though the room was cleaned by the hotel staff right before we entered the rooms. Hotel offers free drinks in the fridge/bar, but it wasn't really cooling a lot. Wifi was breaking a bit.
Beds were comfortable, room was cozy, hotel staff was pleasant. Everything we asked upon arrival was granted. The Parking card costs 10 euros and lasts for 24 hours, and even though we exceeded this by 2 hours, the hotel staff gave us another one for free in order to take the car outside. Even though we didn't know German, the staff demonstrated incredible English conversational skill

United KingdomThere was no "Do not disturb" sign in the room - at 09:00 housekeeping knocked and walked straight into the room. I wasn't dressed, and in fact this felt like a very serious invasion of my privacy. This could have been much worse if I was with my wife. This part of the service I very much didn't like. I later found there is a lock on the inside of the door. Minor improvements - some soap next to the sink would be nice; there was only a fixed liquid soap dispenser next to the shower.
The hotel and room was still quite cool considering the 30degs temp outside. Bed was very luxurious. A few free drinks in the mini bar was a very generous gesture. Lovely big TV. Quiet environment. Free wifi. Nice adequate wet room with walk-in shower; decent water pressure in the shower. Very clean, and looks newly renovated.

Germany- my biggest issue has to be the entrance system... During Peter and Paul you can not get to the reception without taking the steps or going through the garage. When you first enter that isn't signed properly and so we spent a lot of time with luggage and kids trying to figure out a way in. I wish there was better signage in the garage to find the hotel elevator - rooms get quite hot, no AC (but overall AC is not common in Germany) - fridge isn't really cold - reception time is not 24/7 so when you come late you have to go through the garage again because the downstairs door doesn't have a key card scanner, that would be a very necessary feature in my opinion Still would stay here again, once you figured out how to get in its all good, overall very happy with our stay
+ Fantastic location in the center, directly at the entrance to Peter and Paul festival. + big, comfy beds + quiet rooms + very friendly reception and breakfast staff + wonderful breakfast, cannot understand the bad ratings, there were eggs, bacon, sausages, plenty of cold cuts, cheeses, 8 different types of cereal, Joghurts, juices... What more do you want? All filled constantly and timely and with a wonderful, friendly waitress +although check in was supposed to be at 3 we were able to check in at 1 already + Garage with ample parking + clean and tidy + free soft drinks and water in the minibar + Sundays check out is 2pm

GermanyThe room wasn't really clean. The toilet wasn't properly clean, there were other people' hair. The doors were all stained, the closet door had fingerprints all over, under desk area in the room was full of dust and hair.

United KingdomThe occupants of the room next door were quite noisy in their bathroom, (I don't think they realised how much noise they were making but it was late evening and we were trying to get to sleep).
Perfect for an overnight stop-over. Nice clean room with private toilet/shower. Large 55" TV on the wall with mood lighting. Free "mini-bar" with some soft drinks and a bottle of local beer. The rooms were finished to a high standard with a modern look.

GermanyThe room was extremely hot, I was not able to sleep, I opened the window to be able to get some breeze but there is a big street lamp outside the room s I had to sleep with the light coming. I know hat other nights may be ok, bu I would expect for the hotel to have at least a fan for these cases
