Rooms are little outdated.

Hotel staff were super nice and helpful, with suggestions on where to go in the area. The room was fine, although I'd say a little outdated. The buffet breakfast was also fine with enough choices. Good location, short walk uphill to main area of town. They are in process of adding a pool/outdoor area which will make it even nicer in future.

Nothing about the property, however we did have 3 of the rooms surrounding us playing music, chanting, singing and laughing through the night until 3am. This was unfortunate as we had to be up at 5:30am to travel and couldn’t sleep on our last night. It would be good if that was managed by staff but we understand it wasn’t their fault.

The staff at AlpinaRos are fantastic, especially Franz! He was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The hot tub/spa area, and will only get better with the current addition of the pool. The view from our room was amazing and we were very happy with our location so close to town and the bus stop.

From day one until the day I left I felt like I was home! The people at the front desk went above and beyond to help. Their understanding of the areas possibilities and how my hiking aspirations could be satiated. The choice of rooms which gave me a stunning balcony room rather than a bigger room without this view was truly appreciated. The breakfast was exceptional and no surprise professional and with a large array of options. I will be back. Berchtesgaden truly amazing me. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay at AlpinaRos. Breakfast was in a relaxing setting with a wide choice of food available. Our room was comfortable. The spa area was relaxing after a day of touring around. Very friendly and helpful staff, pointing out the town features and a good walk which goes along a high route above the town. Location is ideal if arriving by train, a short walk from the station with a small uphill section. From the hotel it is only a short walk to the town centre, with a shortcut through a very beautifully maintained cemetery. Highly recommend.

I liked absolutely everything ))

I have been assigned a wonderful, very comfortable room with a view from the balcony that was just amazing )) That alone would be worth it. The hotel itself is very centrally located, with parking nearby. All the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The selection for breakfast was awesome. In short, if you are looking for a place to stay in Berchtesgaden - look no further ))

There is limited parking, although some work is currently being done at the front of the property, so they may be addressing this in the future.

Great location with views of the hills. Close to restaurants and cafes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast buffet (hot and cold) provided. The room is very comfortable with everything considered. Property has a whirlpool and sauna.

First room we got was on the dark ground floor and was seeing over the construction work area they do for the hotel so we asked to give us other rooms. Except from this very unpleasant surprise everything else was amazing

No fridge or Nespresso machine. Shower is good, but tiny. Don’t recommend for thick/broad/wide individuals .

Amazing staff who spoke English, free parking, great balcony view, close to food and shopping, the best breakfast spread I’ve seen in Europe! Bed was cozy. Room has a safe. They have an elevator.

It is a shame they don’t do evening meals or lunches but Franz helped again here and helped us order in.

Franz on reception really made an impact on our time here, he was exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating. He showed us to our room and was always super helpful. All the staff were great. The room was huge. The location was great for the small town access and Konigssee.

We were upgraded to a bigger room for free, which is always lovely :) The host showed us the facilities and the room. He was very welcoming and friendly. The room was nice, with a wonderful view of the mountains. The breakfast had a variety of options and it was also good. 10/10, would book again :)
