It looks like covid has taken out the breakfast buffet that was well reviewed by other travellers. But really there's nothing much I'd change - maybe not have a switch by the door that turns off all the electrical current to the room.

This hotel is well situated, near the main station and within walking distance or a quick ride on public transport from the city centre. The area is full of Turkish restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel itself was calm and comfortable and completely without drama. An uncomplicated place to stay and explore Munich.

My room was on the 5th floor, under the roof. The weather was so hot and there was no air conditioning, so it wasn’t the most comfortable staying.

The position of the hotel is great: it’s less than 10 minutes walk from the main station, close to the university clinic, and a short walk from the Theserienwiese and the city center.

Having to call to be let into the hotel is pretty inconvenient when traveling from outside of Germany.

Arriving latish at night area seemed rather seedy, much better in the daytime.

Convenient location for S Bahn and walking distance into town. Well equipped and clean inside but rather shabby outside.

the location is great. it’s near the train station, but a bit out of the fray. a very easy walk into the center. The neighborhood has many wonderful Turkish and other ethnic restaurants, and there are plenty of classic German beer gardens within 15 min walk as well. the facility is light and bright, and super clean.

Hotel Andra had friendly helpful staff, an excellent breakfast, and was a short walk from the train station. The neighborhood had both a grocery store and pharmacy in case you needed to buy anything like water, sun lotion, or an umbrella. The luggage storage let us check out on time and enjoy a last afternoon in the city before our evening train to our next destination. It was close enough to walk to the main tourism and shopping destinations if you didn’t want to use the metro.

The carpet should be washed and vacuum better and under the bed, also in the bathroom there are spots of rust.

Communication

The location is quite central, you can reach everywhere on foot. The area is more Turkish and Arabic, sometimes it is loud, however, it is also quite safe. Room was big enough for 3 people. The only thing I would advise the hotel to improve is the communication: when you call they reply right away, however, with they were not responding to initial messages.

The fittings around the room, some of which were falling apart. Like the shower head and the shower door. But we made it work, through all 6 nights. It's something you can live with.

The room had windows opening up to the courtyard. My kids loved being able to see out the window to the falling snow. The family room we got (room 102) was very spacious. Location of the hotel is good, 10 mins walk to the main train station (Hauptbanhoff) if pushing a stroller with a child. Lots of halal food available in the area. Of special note is Sultan, which sells the best hot Turkish sandwiches I've tasted yet. Supermarket right downstairs (Rewe) selling halal meats, if you're cooking.

Bed a bit hard, I like big blankets but there was only single ones (well, this is a german thing :D). Some stains in the room on the floor and wall. The door of the elevator was not working well (open and closed repetitely) but not disturbing once in the room.

The staff was very friendly. Even if we did not take the breakfast, it seemed delicious. The room was cleaned and comfortable. We requested a Queen bed and we got it. The location is good. Thanks for your hospitality!

From expectations perspective it's basic hotel. Can improve on providing tea coffee hot water in the room. Internet quality can definitely be improved.

The hotel in around 500 meter from Munich Central Station. The receptionist was very helpful. Check in was very quick. The room was already ready before we arrive. The room was quite big. I booked for 3 people. Not much noise. Overall ok.

The toilet leaked, luckily we could close the toilet door to block out the sound to sleep. Had to wait for 4 minutes for hot water to come through. Very tired and stained rooms. Noisy pub downstairs till late.

Super kind, attentive and helpful staff. We have arrived early, luckily they had a room available so we could check-in earlier. The room was spacious enough and clean. The breakfast is amazing, could be the best in the city! Its very close the main station and 15-20 min walking to the old town. Would stay there again.

The staff was extremely supportive and even let us check in a few hours earlier. Then we were allowed to leave our belongings. As for the room, no complaints come to mind at all.

Rooms were large, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We didn’t notice any sound from the street at night. Staff were very friendly, and the location was great to walk into Old Town, or take public transport. The proximity to the main station also made day trips easy.
