The location was central and great! Breakfast was very good. The room was nice and big. After 8 days of traveling with her parents, my daughter was super grateful for the sliding door separating her sleeping space from ours.

I have no complaints.

We were given an upgraded room on arrival due to an accident I had had a few days earlier. It was large with a lovely balcony and only a few stairs. The landlord was very kind and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious.

Our stay was too short.

A traditional hotel in a great location. We had room 21 which had a balcony and overlooked the river/waterfall - nice to fall asleep to the sound of the water. TV, two armchairs made it a comfortable room. Very clean. Very good selection for breakfast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, breads, cheese, meat, eggs, omelette. Service was friendly and attentive. Would certainly recommend.

No air conditioning/No ceiling fans, we arrived on a 38 degree day. The rooms were cooking hot and even opening windows over night did not assist with relieving stuffiness and heat. Many rural properties don’t have any cooling options which appears to become a bigger issue now with hotter summers and weeks of heat wave. Front facing rooms on street on a hill—> traffic, though not a busy road , becomes quite loud. Rooms facing to back of property don’t have this problem

Friendly staff, very clean facilities, spacious, renovated in last 5 -7 years or so. Able to open windows all the way, free car parking available in front of hotel-> if all taken able to park on public car park over night. Buffet breakfast, ample choice and fresh food. Rustic country hotel in/near Black Forest.

The decor throughout is dated, but that’s also part of the charm.

A classic German guesthouse-type hotel in the Black Forest. Very clean and nicely appointed. Their restaurant was closed for dinner unfortunately but plenty of other options close by. Their claim to fame is their over-the-top amazing breakfast anyway. With every choice you can think of, if you go away hungry of unsatisfied it's not their fault! Our rooms were in the building next door and they were large and clean. Wine and beer are self serve in a fridge and they have a small terrance you can relax on also. The price was very reasonable considering the upscale area and of course the breakfast didn't disappoint.

We were on a business trip and we needed a place for a rest for one night. This pension was very nice and cosy, all pension has a nice atmosphere and also the room was nice, clean and also baathroom was great, modern equipment and very clean. We had also breakfast and was great, mainly because of the personel, they were very helpful.

Sadly no air conditioning and as our room was next to a rather busy street (surprisingly, as the village is super quiet!) leaving the balcony door open wasn’t really an option.

The family room in the building we stayed in was spacious and spotless, with bright and modern furnishings - including electric shutters on all windows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with tips about the area.
