Location is incredible. The inn itself is rustic and beautiful. Staff were warm and generous and very friendly. Went above and beyond in making us feel at home. Great breakfast.

Some rooms do not have fixed showers. We appreciate that it is an old building but it is not the best to not have a stand-up shower. Breakfast is served from 8 until 10 we ate at 9.00 each morning and were disappointed to find that there was limited food left. Not necessarily the fault of the hotel, many other guests were going to the buffet on multiple occasions and then leaving food on thier plates, but there was no topping up of things like yoghurt, fruit, meats etc. We had to ask to get some eggs, which was done, but really should be checked. This meant that 4 out of 6 of our group did not eat.

Beautiful old character hotel in the middle of an amazing historic town. Lovely garden bar that is open until 20.00 for viiitors and then an honesty system for guests. Parkimg is onsite which is super convenient, but a bit frustrating when leaving if you get parked in. Rooms are cute. Staff are really friendly.

No room facilities to make a hot drink from a business that ends its offering at 6pm. No air conditioning or fans which became an issue for sleeping with the extreme early season weather, not boding well for the main summer season.

Had to go back up the hill in the evening to find somewhere to eat. No one on duty in the evening, if you wanted a drink it was in a fridge and you signed for it.

In a quiet location away from noise if the Festival. Beautiful hotel garden to relax in after a busy day. Excellent breakfast but coffee was not very good.

I know that this is a Mom and Pop sort of hotel. But it was very often closed and nobody was there to unlock the doors or answer the phone. We often couldn’t get in the front door and had to walk all the way around the block to get in through a back door. Unacceptable during daytime hours.

The breakfast was fabulous! The location was excellent. It was wonderful to be in such a beautiful old building, nicely updated and comfortable.

The host phoned to reprimand us for not turning up at the estimated time. Had booked months prior and didn't realise that reception wasn't staffed full-time. This should be made clear in the pre-arrival email. Was also difficult to locate the entrance.

The key did not open the inner door so we often could not enter the property. We tried the back gate and it was often locked too. I wouldn’t stay there again because of this.

Some of the furniture was not stable enough, such as tables. In the rooms was missing lighting, it was too dark. Also it would be nice to have electric kettle in the room. As the days were hoing we notice that the quality of the breakfast was going down. It was getting more difficult to have a full breakfast.

This place is understaffed in the PM hours - with one lady so busy with everything that you just can’t find staff for info, such as the wifi password for the room areas! The bed was somewhat uncomfortable and the pillow provided is close to nothing. I needed to put my clothes underneath to be able to sleep.

Very nice location within the city walls of Rothenburg, steps away from the most iconic photo of the town. There is a hotel garage right next door for paid parking. Room is basic but clean and has everything we needed for a one night stay. Staff members are all very friendly.

There is no transportation from the train station to the hotel after 8:00 pm. Walk with luggage to the hotel was a experience. It is not a hotel issue.

I wish there was an elevator, but I know this can’t happen because of how old the hotel is, which is very nice.

Staff is amazing. The owner of the hotel is a very friendly woman. She is always available for any request. We had a problem with the hot air, they fixed it on the spot. Location is great. Walking distance to the center. Cozy hotel.
