The hotel is sort of old-fashioned, but it's okay for us.

Maritim Stuttgart will defenitely be my first choice for future stay in the city. The location is perfect! Two tram stops to the main train station (and you have a plenty of options), and also close to the main attractions. Nice neighborhood, two supermarkets downstairs (Rewe opens to 24pm). The atmosphere of piano bar is great, and the hotel offers nice breakfast (you should try the customized egg omelets). The Metzingen outlet shuttle bus Line 2 has a bus stop there, which is a plus.

Fitness equipment was more sparse than I expected - plus using it had a 'daily fee' which felt like a bit of a rip off while the rooms already weren't cheap.

Very nice to stay during the FMX event - perfect location for it. Breakfast was very decent as well and was open at a solid time range.

corridors were apparently being overhauled. with open ducting/no ceiling etc. But no effect on stay. The room was rather warm and since we do not like sleeping with AC, we had to open te window. There was some street noise, but it was ok. These are about all the down sides I could think of.

As usual with Maritiem, the rooms are good size, clean and complete. With excellent beds, although I still can't get used to the pillows used in Germany (thin and soft). As always, the breakfast buffet is amazing! The location was ok, reachable, walking distance of the city center and sufficient parking space (although plenty electric charging points will be available soon, now there were none and all future charging spots could not be used, leaving limited space for parking). the hotel is a bit weird, in that it consists of 2 buildings, connected through a tunnel/basement, were the rooms were in the second building (reception, pool, restaurant, breakfast etc in the other).

the swimming pool was out of order and we whwere not informed prior to our stay. it was one of the reasons we chose the Hotel so i was very unsatisfied. also such a big Hotel should have a place for kids to play/spend their time.

We choose that hotel because of swimming pool & wellness. To our surprised, without any "warning" those facilities were not available, due to reconstruction... Also, hotel has 2 buildings and walking in between them is massive...

Wonderful breakfast, super spacious, clean and well equipped room, friendly staffs, well located. The swimming pool is not big but good enough for my girls.

Equipment: a bit old and not work so well - air condition, hair dryer, iron, etc Room: telephone line always busy and cannot access to get help Setup: when telephone line does not work, for every tiny request (e.g., a soap for bath) you need to go to the reception which is too far away (different buildings, need to switch 2 lifts and walk 10 min) Notice: construction work on swimming pool is not clear enough noticed - should tell all guests during check-in!

Overall not really anything Would not normally expect to stay in such a large hotel but all fine.

Room & facilities very good. Breakfast good if a bit overwhelming with the numbers involved but did seem to run quite smoothly. Kettle in the room is always a big bonus. Staff always very pleasant & helpful.

The air conditioning in one of our rooms didn't function, which made sleeping on some nights difficult. The following points didn't detract from my experience, but are technically room for improvement; I would've preferred to be able to fully close the shower cabin so as to keep the heat inside. The blow dryer smelled like burnt hair and could've used a bit more force. The toilet paper was also a bit too thin for my liking.

Location was great, very pretty and clean, comfortable beds. And the complimentary water bottles were very nice. Exceptional rain shower, and nice and clean sheets and towels every day. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, both reception and cleaning.

In Booking it says heated pool, but the water was freezing. I wish I could say it was at least warm, but it was super cold. Not recommended unless it's summer.

Breakfast was outstanding - no doubt the best! Room was comfy, but in another building so we had to walk quite a lot to get from our room to the main building (lobby, restaurants, breakfast, pool, etc).

Parking was ok, but overpriced in my opinion. It costs 22 EUR/night which would be OK if you don't already pay "good" price for the room. Usual accessories are not present in the room: soap bar (there is a shower gel), shower cap, dental kit... you can get it but you need to ask for it on Reception. Reception was in another building

Breakfast was really good with a lot of quality options. Coffee was good. Rooms were spacious and clean. Location was fair. We've used public transport to go trough the city and it was working perfectly.
