I liked it very much. On the river. Beautiful view. Got free upgrade. Had a really good Burger at the restaurant bar lobby. Everything was more than fine.

It could have been nice, if the parking would be cost free, and a breakfast would be included.

Location was very good. Rooms were cosy, clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very helpful in every detail.

The public car park where you need to park had a problem with the ticketing system when we went to leave. Although hotel reception had a validating machine, as soon as it wasn't working they just told us to contact the car park support (I don't speak German so some assistance from them would have been helpful)

It is a very corporate-style hotel. Modern and clean. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. Large bathrooms, We ate in the bar for dinner, and the burgers were good. Breakfast was good, although despite breakfast being included, it seems that does not apply to children who have to pay?!

When I wanted to ask just what direction to go, receptionist asked me to be in a row of 5 people with check in

No comments as we were transferred from "overbooking" Not sure I would choose this hotel. But it was comfortable.

You get an email that you can check in online and receive a QR code to get your key. I did not receive a QR code after checking in online.

The evening receptionist who checked us in seemed to be irritated at having to check us in. The following evening we returned and I asked if the bar was open to which she replied 'you could just go and ask yourself'. If she was new, or just didn't know she could have said. I would expect staff not to be openly annoyed at simple questions, or at checking us in. Thankfully the other staff we encountered were more friendly.

Nice hotel. Nice room. It's a nice walk along the riverside to get into the old town. The young man who checked us out was really friendly and helpful both at check out and when we returned to get our luggage and taxi. He is a credit to the hotel. We only spent an hour or so at the hotel bar, sitting outside in the sun, however, it was lovely and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Cleaning staff also very friendly around the hotel.

Would be good to have a separate door to the business room, so you can actually work undisturbed. You only get high speed wifi access if you sign up for the membership, also the wify on the 6th floor was so bad I had to use my hotspot to do video calls. actually unacceptable in the year 2023, for a steigenberger hotel. The carpets and design are quite dated, could need some renovation. There are also no USB plugs in the suite... Standard inside is more from the 80's than from 2023.

As a UK traveller with our non-compliant plugs, USB sockets in the room would be really helpful for charging phones etc - although having stayed in several hotels on a recent trip, none of the other ones had these either, so can’t really complain.

The room exceeded expectations and we really liked the bathroom. Breakfast was good with a very wide range to choose from and all of a high quality. Location for us was key as our vehicle was not ULEZ compliant and the multi-storey car park right next to the hotel was really reasonably priced. Wish we could have taken advantage of the spa.

Spiders in the room, like, a lot. Queen bed is in fact two single put together and they drift apart.

Location is great. Breakfast was also very good. Bathroom is clean and roomy.
