We had a little trouble with the TV and couldn't figure out how it worked, but with the free Wi-Fi access, it was no trouble.

It was on our route to our next destination, so we only booked this as of convenience. But we were pleasantly surprised with the place and had a nice lay-over. Everything was clean and nice, and the rooms and the area was very quiet. It seemed quite new or the least newly decorated. All though we had booked the the hotel 40 minutes before arrival, they were ready to receive us. We brought a medium size dog and it was also all right with the hotel. They charge a small fee for the dog, and that was just fine. We didn't ordrer breakfast, but enjoyed a coffee in the room in the morning, as it was possible to cock water in the room with the possibility of making both coffee and tea. Easy parking and no hazzle. And - not forgetting: Very inexpensive!

The location was easy to find but the view from our room was just horrible. The construction work view was not something I would have hoped for during our stay although was it only for one night.

The staff was very kind and spoke English very good. Our room was very clean.

Location - a lot of noise. Some buildings around the hotel are still in construction. Things should improve in the future...

I cant think of anything .....most of the difficulties are Pandemic related.......(restraunt closed).

Very central when im working in Emsland...Also near to Holland and some of my family there. Its always exactly as expected. WH Hotels was recommended by work friend and I will stay there in the future.

Practically, there is no possibility to contact staff by messages or mail. In my room there was a smell of dirty dog. My friend received a room that was not cleaned after previous guest.

Good location, close to tourist attractions. Reasonable price. That's all.

I booked a single room and got the worst room ever: next to the kitchen and the restaurant. Lots of noise from 5AM till around midnight. next day I discussed this with the hotel staff and they gave me a free upgrade to a much better room. That was very nice. (tip: during check-in, please reject a stay in room #4)

Instead of a standard room at a cheaper rate, we specially booked a deluxe room, but very disappointed that the room is totally different from the photo shown, very small. We confirmed with the front desk were we given the correct room and the answer was yes. She told us the photo shown in booking.com is just a general photo. We were given the ground floor room number 3. Not only that it is much smaller than described, it is also very noisy. The room is next to the kitchen or dinning room, the whole evening we keep hearing the plate and other noise. Finally it was a bit quiet for few hours, but still we can hear noise from other rooms. At around 5am the noise from the kitchen begin again. The room has one window, it is only covered with a kind of manually pulling up and down white mild 10% transparent blind. In May the sunrise is kind of early ar around 5:45am, in order to make sure that we can sleep a bit later till 7:30am, before going to bed we have to use the bed scarf to cover the window to make the room darker. The shower is also not a comfort and practical one. Can’t understand how come it is designed in that way. Oh yes, the toilet is super low, it is more like for children than for adult. The breakfast is super expensive, €12.50 per person and though it looks like it has a lot of choices, in actual fact not really. The display looks good but the food quality is fair only, not worth for €12.50, max worth for €6.00.

Only thing we like is free parking.
