everything is old fashioned, at first look it is clean but in details it's totally not (but most of Cairo's hotels are not so clean). very expensive for what it is offered.

the pool area view is very good, great variety of food in breakfast, nice location for the city center, most of personnel in the staff are very willing to help

The rooms were a bit dated, could do with an upgrade, but they were clean, very comfortable and hugely spacious!

We loved the location, the staff, the swimming pool was amazing, the views.

The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. However, our bedroom had a wrap around balcony with 2 sliding doors so we just aired it out as best we could. I also had an issue with the elevator - there is no safety to re-open the doors when they close and my hand got caught! I had to wrench it free and ended up with bad bruising.

The breakfast was great and you could get eggs cooked how you liked them. All of the staff was extremely friendly - especially the guy at breakfast (sorry didn't catch his name) and Mustafa at checkin.

Property is too old. It needs major renovation. Don't keep too many hopes on facilities.

Nothing very important- but service at the Nile Breeze restaurant was very slow. We had to ask to order each time we ate there- and other patrons had the same issue. Just something to work on. Maybe water drinks on arrival in 30-40deg heat would also be a good idea. Having said this, the food was awesome.

Terrific staff- friendly and interactive. Mustafa at reception, Rami at the mezzanine lounge and housekeeping staff were excellent. Accidently left our safe open with passports one day- everything was transferred to receptions safe, and kept there until we picked it up. So many thanks to housekeeping and reception!

Furniture is old. We had non smoking room but the floor smelled smoking, turned out our neighbor was smoking in non smoking floor!!!! The hotel needs rooms renovation!!

Nile River restaurant has very poor food. Room is old with carpet. The bathroom is very old which definitely needs a work to be done. we had a room with view which does not reflect the pictures. we had only partial view as part of it was blocked by the building itself. Big work in front of the pool impacting on the Nile view.

I spent my 40th birthday and a couple of extra days at Hilton Zamalek, and I gotta be honest .. the hospitality and service me and my family have received was beyond our expectations. We are very thankful to be upgraded from the Nile suite to the ambassador suite, the staff were extremely friendly and generous. -room was huge yet very tired and in need of refurbishment -not up to the standards set by Hilton -no arrival welcome drink or water in the room -soundproofing of rooms needed as city noise was audible throughout the night -Overpriced

+Fantastic views over the Nile +Secure location by international embassies so peace of mind +reception beautiful +were accommodating with adjustments to our booking

1) ROOM CLEANING SERVICE THE BED SHEETS WERE NOT UP TO-PAR. We payed for a (3)-Three-person's room The room was equiped only for two persons. We had to request for the third-person towels & other requirements on daily basis.
