“The hotel is in a small village with a beautiful church at its centre just a few miles outside Salamanca. There are only a few rooms and the place is run by Martin and his partner who also man the kitchen to make your dinner. Martin is a lovely man who now’s how to welcome and look after people as well as cook for them. We had a wonderful meal of a light soup and roasted beef rib and pork with excellent olive oil and wine from the village. Our dogs were welcome and Martin was delighted to see them.”
