“The hotel had lovely gardens and the room was clean. The restaurant was good and provided an attractive place to eat within the town. The hotel has a lovely (cold) pool! We paid a little extra for a larger room and the balcony overlooking the pool gave us wonderful views to enjoy in the evenings.”
“This is a traditional Spanish house situated in the medieval part of the town. Anyone who visits should be prepared for this rather than Ultra modern facilities. We enjoyed the authenticity of the location and the house. We liked the decor and the town. The owner was very helpful and responded to anything we needed very quickly. The beds were comfortable. The shower and hot water system worked well. The house is on three levels and a roof for drying your washing. The ground floor stayed very cool as the temperatures were high when we visited and the top floor was quite warm.”
“This hotel came highly recommended by a friend as a perfect place for a road cycling holiday. It really didn't disappoint. I had a great week's break with friends in very comfortable accommodation with very enjoyable food.
The hotel is in a beautiful location in an ideal place for cycling both in the hills of the Sierra Nevada national park and to the coast.
It is clean and well kept with a great evening meal selection that is good value for money and very well prepared. The view from our 3rd floor room was stunning and the pool area was spacious with a lemon tree and nearby bar and restaurant.
The hotel has paid parking underneath but there is a free public car park just adjacent to the hotel. There is also a dedicated cycling room for storage and maintenance.
One of our group is already planning returning to the hotel with his wife for less cycling and a more conventional holiday.”
“The pool and bar area looked great though we didn’t use either (pool freezing in May and restaurant pretty much deserted)
Lots of free parking nextdoor (though had to walk all the way round the hotel as no one answered the gate at that side of the property)”
