We loved the attention to detail across all premises, everything was exceptionally well tended, we’ll preserved and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food is exceptional in all restaurants. It’s the perfect location for a quiet, romantic getaway to decompress and relax (rooms are well insulated also for noise).

Well, this is not the cheapest hotel you'll ever find, but it's difficult to put a price on such a memorable experience.

This place was everything we were hoping for, and more! The beautiful surrounding landscape, the 900 year old architecture, the river and canal, the birds and wild animals, the connection with outdoors, the restaurants/food, the hiking and biking trails, the winery, the incredible history of the place, the service, and so many other things. In particular, I would like to commend our lead concierge/butler, Muhammad. We concluded that he is the most talented hotel professional that we've ever met, and a really nice human being!

I would have appreciated another place to be able to eat. We ended up eating in the same restaurant 3 times in 2 days. However the food was fantastic!

The property is outstanding! i did not expect it as it is much more exclusive in person. It is an old monastery, first built in 1154 turned into a luxury hotel by subtly keeping the style, the spirit, and the function of the different rooms. The wine is of very good quality, the SPA offers a great variety of treatments and there are plenty of walks or bike tours to take around. last but definitely not least - the michelin star restaurant takes all of your senses to an unforgettable adventure… Admirations for the entire staff, management and owners! Hope to become a regular customer as it is just and 1h30 min away from Madrid!

The arquitectually amazing renovated 12 century monestry in the middle of a beautiful wine estate. The staff are top notch. The michellen star restaurat is a destination itself.

By far the best resort we have stayed in Spain. We will be back.

the only complaint I have is the outdoor pool was closed during our stay. I wish we would have been alerted as I probably would have changed the dates of the trip. despite the closure, the place was awesome.

wow. this is a dream place. a beautifully restored Abby with all the comfort and luxury of a 5 star hotel in the middle of the most majestic vineyards. the service is impeccable. the food is worthy of its Michelin star designation. the spa facilities were one of the best I’ve seen. truly exceptional. it is a curated experience…your butlers make sure every need is met and make it feel like you are the only guest in the hotel. peaceful and majestic. I highly recommend taking advantage of all the special experiences including a tour of the winery via jeep and wine tasting. the hotel also arranged for a private horse ride through the vineyards. incredible.

If you like discovering new “pagos” and wine makers, this place is heavenly. Owned by Novartis, it’s quite a special place.

Small details: Could improve dinner food offering when gourmet restaurant is closed (Sunday-wed), maybe add an informal bar menu or open the pool restaurant at night (its lovely). That said, Vinoteca was amazing and the offering is varied enough. Also, maybe add some more free activities to the offering, like guided walks, fitness or experiences. We enjoyed leisurely walks, but compared to other similar places, most of the activities are chargeable.

Everything, location, service, room, confortable bed, attention to detail was amazing!! Spa extremely professional and felt the pampering. Wine tour guide very nice, and wines are outstanding and rare for spain with many mono-varietal from diverse grapes. A la carte breakfast is brilliant, with virtually everything you want brought to your table.
