How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The furniture and bathroom sanitaries were a bit too outdated. For the price we paid and being a 4 stars hotel, I would have expected a bit more refurbishments. Also, the breakfast was poor, and we did not have too many options for vegetables, for instance. Plus the breakfast room was quite small and after 9 am it was too crowded and we had to wait to get a free table to sit....
Excellent location at about 10min by foot from the Science Museum and Oceanografic. Great bed matress, we could sleep really comfortable. We booked a triple room which was very large and clen.

The cleaning staff waited outside our door in the morning for us to leave so they could clean the room so felt a bit rushed to meet their schedule.

Restaurant was a bit canteen-like and no separate bar. Hotel feels more like an office converted.

There is not ventilator in washroom. It will be embarrassed after using the toilet.....
Very friendly staff and English well speaking which is not normal in Valencia. Furniture in good condition but something somehow a little old.

The hotel is well located, within walking distance of Les Arts, the Science Museum and the Oceanographic Museum. And it's easy to get to the city center by bus (50 m from the hotel) or metro (Ayora Station, about 850 m). The staff are friendly and ready to help.

First night a lot of noise coming from the street side. very happy with the way hotel management solved this by giving us another room at the park side Breakfast a bit disappointing as yoghurt and eggs were not refilled anymore

For a tourist that comes to see Valencia's highlights is not the best option because is a bit far from the center. (35 mins by bus). However, if you bike is 13 mins and the hotel has a secured parking for your bike. Bathroom floors and canes could be better clean.
The bed and pillows were nice. Staff was kind and helpful. The hotel has all the services for a comfortable stay. There are all kinds of stores and services around the location, the bus stop is diagonal from the hotel.

I could hear other guest walking and talking in the corridor late in the evening. One morning there was enormous queue to the coffee machine ( there was just one other was broken) during breakfast.
Staff at the reception desk were friendly and professional. Hotel is very close to Town of Arts and Science. Room and bathroom were spacious. Breakfast was very nice.

The reception team were very helpful and very nice. I found a card in my bedroom with a piece of cake, wishing me happy birthday, which I didn't expect, so I really liked that kind of attention. Thank you so much.. The location is quiet and perfect for visiting the ciudad de las artes, about 15 mins walking distance. The bus stop towards the city centre is one minute walk, line 4. Connection to the city centre with the bus is about 15 minutes. Very handy, and good value for money. I would definitely repeat.

The hotel is quite old, not too many signs of wear and tear, but everything looks pretty outdated. The A/C barely works and I could not open the windows.

A bit far to walk to the city centre, was a bit loud at times during the night, missing some vegetables for breakfast.
Everything was very nice, the rooms, the people, really reccommend!

Comfortable beds, decent breakfast and helpful staff
Room HVAC control were not functional. Some of the TV channels didn't work, the bathroom sink drain slowly.
