Set in a beautiful location with far reaching views of the coastline. Peaceful and relaxing environment with well kept gardens. Alpacas and sheep in fields nearby. Spacious covered patio with wooden furniture outside room. Some rooms have balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was delicious and served in the conservatory with stunning views. Hot drinks available from coffee machine all day. Friendly and helpful staff. We liked the remote location, there are lots of walks nearby, including the pilgrims route. However unless you are a walker, you will need a car if you stay here. One local restaurant at 500m.

Excellent location- quiet, stunning views the ocean, 10 min drive to the center of Donostia. Decent local restaurant at a walking distance down the road. The place itself is well looked after both inside and outside. Friendly staff speaking good English and French. Tasty breakfast. There is a vending machine just outside the house, so you can grab a cold beer or coke if you get back late.

The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The locations is great with great views all around. A bit difficult to go up by car when its dark so I would recommend travelling there in daylight. The spa is underrated, very good if you would like to relax free of extra charge. Breakfast is great, looking at the amazing view out of the window. Would recommend to couples or families for a longer stay so you can enjoy the nature.

If you like nature and animals than it’s a very good option. Owner’s of the property are very nice, friendly, and professional. They treat their guests very well and provides a lot info regarding what to do or visit etc.

The breakfast was fantastic and included their own-made basque sheep cheese and yoghurt, fresh bread and home-made cake. All with plenty of good quality fresh espresso coffee. The view of the sea from the small dining room was beautiful.

This was our second stay in 6 weeks. Like the first time it didn't disappoint. The welcome was just as friendly and everything else was to the high standard of my first visit. One of my favourite memories has to be the breakfast! Great variety and all so fresh. For this reason, plus the fact Agrotourismo Maddiola is pet friendly, with some great walks nearby, we shall certainly return next year en-route to southern Spain.

This was a real find. The location is stunning. The staff (Owners) are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to ensure you have everything for an enjoyable stay. We were travelling with our pet dog and she, too, was welcomed! The room was beautifully warm, large enough to spread out after travelling for 3 days and all the facilities were welcome. The room had it's own patio and access to a garden, which was great for the dog. I think my residing memory will be the breakfast. Everything laid out so beautifully and also fresh and so tasty. We will definitely return!

Be careful driving up the hill, locals , hill walkers and cyclists enjoy the views too but in a tight curvy two way hill you can’t always see them coming. felt treacherous for pedestrians and cyclists

House was stunning and house was beautiful especially lit up for Christmas.The staff were kind and helpful I felt very safe as a lone female traveller . very dog friendly
