I am not expecting a fancy kitchen, but a good pan, a sharp knife, something to flip or use for the pan and a good wine opener, doesn't cost the world and would be nice to add. There must be a reason why there are only single beds, also a reason why the pool only opens at 9 and closes already at 18.30. The price is too high.

The friendly stuff knows how to welcome clients including the friendly cleaning ladies. I was lucky to get an upgrade to the upper floors with a sea view. The bed was very comfy and I liked the fresh cleaned and good smelling warm blankets (yes it was pretty chilly in the first nights). Location is perfect for everything you need. Parking is available in the side streets or back of the house. Remember NOT to park where you see yellow lines, blue lines you have to pay. White lines or no lines, free parking.

There is no coffee machine, iron, iron board and clothes dryer. In the kettle there were small white particles.

the only thing that could be better is the beds; there were no double beds and once moved together, the beds keep drifting apart...but that is only a small thing compared to all the advantages.

very functional, spacious apartment with all kitchen equipment needed to cook for oneself and an excellent shower. The apartement is very close to the next bus stop as well as the beach area and there are shops at every corner around for groceries or other useful things/ beach supply etc. The personell was very helpful to provide us with both a water boiler and a coffe-maker, which we highly appreciated. Fast check-in and useful luggage-storage on our day of departure. We didn't use the (quite beautiful) pool area, but appreciated the possibility to have it at the apartment complex.

Weak air conditioning but it was absolutely enough

The beds are really cheap, both were creaking, squeaking, on of them only a little, the other one was terrible. After the first night we did let the receptionist know, he promised they will take care of it. When we came back, we've seen someone was in our room, they did the beds, but didn't fasten the screws or did anything to help with the squeaking. We ended up throwing the beds out to the balcony and sleeping on the mattresses.

The price was OK, we didn't expect too much. We just needed a room for stay. There is an OK bathroom, some basic kitchen equipment, it is enough if you just need a place to sleep and don't want to spend your day in the apartment.

One evening the security guard wouldn’t let us in the hotel and said it was meant to be just girls in the room which was never stated and passports were taken on arrival so this was confusing. We had to wait until 4am before we could get back in despite showing proof and having the room key.

The kitchen could have been better equipped. Few small extra stuff will improve the experience to use the kitchen a lot. For example, there was no oven (only microwave), so couldn't heat up a simple pizza. No salt or oil, so we had to buy a lot to use only a little.

Keep in mind that the hotel has 2 sides. One overlooks a noisy road with cafes and restaurants (screams until the morning). The other is for a hotel with huge industrial air conditioners humming very loudly. It is impossible to be either here or there with the windows open

Magaluf itself. That's not the fault of Sol y Vera of course, but Magaluf is a town Britishers infest when they do what Britishers do best, getting wasted, hammered, shitfaced, and whatnot. Because of that it's super loud and super dirty. Again, not the fault of Sol y Vera.

Sol y Vera offers exceptionally good value for the price.

I lost my bag, and reception came and gave it to me, so was very good. Cleaning lady did a great job so we tipped her, and the pool was a good temperature.

The kitchen utensils weren’t properly cleaned, the stove didn’t get hot & it took a long time to prepare something, the pan is not safe/ healthy to use at all as the whole surface was burnt/ scratched. The mattresses were very hard and gave me shoulder pain.

The staff was super friendly and helped fast when needed. The apartment was very big and bright, the balcony had a nice view & the bathroom was spacious too. The shower had a really good water pressure! The cleaning staff was also very nice. The location was good.

They clean the rooms every two days, and change the towels, it's enough, but by fact they didn't clean the floor. Only next day after my complain about it. All people go to the see, but no any place to dry clothes and towels after the beach. Even holder for clothes in the corridor was there only like decor, because when I tried to use it, it fell down. One day somebody in hotel above us at 5 a.m. turned on music very loudly like on the disco, it was terrible

Very good location, and the building is high, it gives a beautiful view from the balcony, and from the common side of building on the mountains. In the apartment are all needs for us equipment for the kitchen: kettle, toaster, microwave, a fridge with a freezer, dishes with glasses
