It would be nice if reception could speak English.

The hotel is in a good neighborhood with lots of bars/restaurants nearby. There is also a nice restaurant attached to the hotel where we had dinner one night. It is close to a metro station and also within walking distance of nearby attractions like the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom clean and modern with good shower. The staff were friendly and helpful but we did have a bit of communication issues because we did not understand Spanish. Would recommend.

The only bad point is that you can hear from the other room or stairs to open doors or to click the light on/off.

Perhaps some tea and coffee and containers of milk could be offered in the room and not just herbal tea.

A few things that were annoyances but certainly didn't make a big impact. We would stay again: The room has a very small fridge and a kettle. No other facilities. No cutlery, such as spoons or a knife or plate. to make our own tea or sandwiches etc.... There is no ice machine, which is perhaps a luxury, but the front desk was willing to get a glass of ice from the next door restaurant for us . The window was out towards an inner area (not a street view) where opening it meant some noise and smells. However, with the window closed, it was quiet. If you like sleeping with an open window, good to ask which room is best. .. Apparently some rooms have living spaces but ours was a room with small table next to the bed. If you want more space ask ahead. The hotel is very responsive.

Great location. Walking distance from many sites. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a terrific, big shower and the room was very clean. There's both an elevator and stairs. It's typically about 33 euros with either taxi or other from the airport. It's fairly quiet. We felt very safe. It is very much in the style of a traditional hotel. Asked for double bed and we did get this. Quiet area and quiet hotel.

We had maid service-they made beds & emptied trash—which we appreciated, but would have liked the dishes to be washed as well.

The room layout was nicely designed. We didn’t hear any noise from other rooms or the street. We appreciated that the pull out bed prepared for us!!

It was a pity there was no breakfast option and we had to eat outwards. But the area is nice and the Leon cafe was a good alternative.

The room was bigger than I have expected, it was warm even though the heating was off which I found good. I found nice the small balcony facing neat patio. Very good mattress! The floor also very clean, with a good parquet flooring, I walked with no slippers on. And the GROHE shower, functioning very well (hot water coming very fast, no need to wait). I loved it!

Toiletries came in tiny plastic bottles, a big no-no nowadays. Interiors can feel a bit outdated and an afterthought. That is: the architecture could really shine if they “owned” the late 70s/80s vibe and exploited it better.

Decoration and furniture are a bit dated. Pillow is too high and hard. I asked for a smaller one, they provided it, but it was still too hard.

Very good location, a couple of minutes of Argülles Metro Station. Easy to walk to everywhere. Plenty of small restaurants and cafés nearby. There is one El Corte Inglês within a walking distance. Superior Room is very spacious and has a mini kitchen on it - extremely convenient. Mattress is very comfortable. Staff is super friendly and solicit. I would definitely to stay there again.

The heating wasn't working in my room, and there was no coffee in the room (they placed green tea instead). One night a group of other guests were making a big noise in the middle of the night, which woke me up. Not a hotels' fault though.

The room was very clean and spacious. Bathroom was also modern, which I appreciated! Very close to the Argüelles metro station and there were few places where you could grab something to eat! Good wifi and I find the price very reasonable. I am very satisfied with the hotel, and I'd recommend it to friends and colleagues!
