This hotel is absolutely beautiful and only steps from the Mesquite. Room are very comfortable. Breakfast was more than usual in terms of offerings.

It’s a bit expensive and the WiFi is awful

Great location, amazing staff, quiet, charming rooms very well equipped and comfortable. The rooftop has the best views over the city. Breakfast is really nice and fresh and really nice in the courtyard under the orange tree. An oasis.

Not a deal breaker, and we would stay here again, but I wish we had known that our room was 'folded' inside the hotel and had no outside windows. We did have windows - one onto a stairwell and one onto a corridor with a bench where people could (and did!) sit. All rather strange and although a charming room (a suite I think) do perhaps ask about this. It would have been good to have been fore-warned as I would have chosen a different room.

From entering the gates into a magical and almost secret little courtyard, Balcon de Cordoba was everything we had hoped for. Absolutely charming and the location is unbeatable - 30 seconds from the mesquita which meant at night and early morning we could enjoy the historic centre without the crowds. The orange tree in the courtyard was just coming into bloom and although we did not eat at the hotel, the food did look lovely. Charming staff on the front desk and the hotel was immaculately clean. Had a lovely hour up on the roof terrace which is small but has stunning views.

Everything. This is the cutest little boutique hotel, and the staff were super great. The location was perfect right next to the mezquita. Breakfast was great and the rooms were quaint. They had cava and fruit set up for our arrival. It was a fantastic experience.

The aircon was pretty weak so it was a bit warm at night but we went in March so not too bad

It was difficult to manage the steps leading into the hotel from outside. Just 3 and then 3 more, but by the time we had walked all over, we were tired. However, the staff carried the luggage for us.

The location was wonderful. So close to restaurants and scenic areas. Right by the Mezquita. The hustle and bustle of the city was nearby but by the time you went down the alley to the hotel it was peaceful and quiet. The staff was lovely and the gardens and terraces within the grounds were stunning.

Balcón de cordoba was a truly wonderful hotel. From the moment you stepped through the wrought iron gates into the beautiful courtyard you relaxed. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was wonderful. To cap it all off the upstairs Balcón/terrace was the ultimate place to watch the sunset over the rooftops of Cordoba. We will be back!!

The staff were very kind and helpful but one of the restaurants they suggested us to go for dinner, was really disappointing both from service and quality of food - i guess could be personal taste

Location is superb, just a few metres from the Cathedral; property is very cute - representing a typical Spanish old home, but all refurbished and modernised, lovely inner courtyard and little terrace

It rained whilst we were there so we could have done with another comfy chair in the bedroom so we could both relax without one of us having to sit on the bed (although not sure it would have fitted!). There are communal spaces to sit but they're either on in the restaurant, in the courtyard or terrace (both open to elements) or in the foyer opposite the reception.

Decor is beautiful. Feel like you're in a very special place. Welcome was warm with complimentary drink and they took our bags to the room which was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of choice. Loved the poached eggs and tomatoes. Terrace is real treat with great views across to the cathedral. Despite booking a standard we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and bathroom. Toiletries were lovely nice touch with fruit and carnation on arrival. Unbelievably central which was great for all the attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room on the ground floor was quite small and dark with high windows. If you are lucky enough to book a better room I think you will have a better experience.

The property is in a great location right in the center of the old town of Cordoba. It has a beautiful terrace and views of the Mezquita. Overall a great mix of old world charm with modern conveniences. The staff was excellent. Highly recommend!
