Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThe sun sets very early for a lot of the sunbeds but if you get good seats in the morning it’s great. Having to put drink orders on the room instead of paying by cards straight away is abit annoying. The lifts are also quite small and slow.
The breakfast and lunch was brilliant and having the beach so close was a super plus!!! Excellent location.

Spainthe buffet restaurant that is included with the stay is horrendous - the coffee comes from dispensers and all the food is dried up, unsanitary, and totally unappetizing, somehow even the fresh fruits look old. once we saw this we didn't even try for dinner €2 to change your beach towel for a fresh one - it's weird to be expected to use a dirty beach towel for your entire stay, no? the comforter in the rooms is too heavy and there is no lighter blanket provided.. i woke up drenched in sweat every night
location, the hotel has beach access and lots of pool space complimentary showers and use of hotel on your last day, that was so thoughtful! spacious rooms, comfy beds and nice bathroom amenities and toiletries included

SwitzerlandThere were not really good options for vegans. And the food itself was not so various. They could improve their food variety and think about all allergies and eating habits.
It was the perfect location for beach holidays.!The room was pretty and big. Everyone was freiendly. I also liked the Yoga and Pilates Classes at the beach.

United Kingdom2 out of the 3 lifts were out of order during our stay. The hotel is set on various levels with a lot of steps down to the beach and up to the main pool, and the lift is essential, especially if you have a pram or mobility issues. There were long queues for the lifts every day.
The location and hotel were almost perfect. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Food was good and staff were great. There are shops, restaurants, bars and car hire a few minutes walk away.

United KingdomThe food. It was the same every single day and leftovers were served often. For example, for breakfast one morning there was fish cannelloni and broccoli, amongst other offerings. The sausages were pink inside, the only thing that was nice was the pancakes and eggs. There was very little choice. If I came back to this hotel I wouldn't pay for the all inclusive again. We ate out most nights so we didn't get the value. We couldn't face into the same food every night. Salad and fruit was very limited too and coffee (and juice) from the machine wasn't good. The shower head was full of limescale so it felt like needles but it was OK as we used the handheld shower instead. I don't like to be negative as we did enjoy our holiday and would return.
Staff were brilliant, everyone was really polite and hard working. 100% to the staff. They couldn't do enough for us and even served us drinks poolside. The hotel was very clean. The beds very comfortable and we slept very well. The towels were soft and fluffy. The pools were too cold for me to use but that's a personal thing, I hate cold water, even during the heat. There were always sun beds available. The entertainment team did the best they could during evening entertainment, although the area was so busy, you had to be there an hour before to get a seat. The sports bar leading into it was lovely, but you couldn't hear the entertainment from there. Staff were very generous with measures and worked hard to serve everyone quickly. The hotel hired two singers one afternoon and they were amazing, we enjoyed them the most. Our room wasn't huge but it had an amazing view of the beach. That's what we loved about the hotel the most. Highly recommended for the view. We loved the location too, lots of pubs, shops and restaurants outside. We would definitely stay here again, we just wouldn't go for the all inclusive version as we weren't keen on the food. The location is so great that you have plenty of fab restaurants outside your door.

United KingdomOur room was directly above the entertainment so it was loud till midnight every night, even though it finished at 11, it was still loud at ill midnight. We couldn't turn off outside light - it must be automated on a time-clock. Room was tiny with hardly any storage which meant most the clothes stayed in the suitcases. There were never enough glasses for cold drinks at breakfast, kept having to ask for some every morning. The breakfast coffee’s were not very good either - worst i’ve had this holiday. 18€ per night for parking was a really steep price to pay. We were going to stop in the bar for a few drinks but it was so bright it felt almost like a departure lounge, so we didn't bother.
The beach was so close to hotel, you literally wall down a few steps from the pool - this was the only highlight. Rooms were very small but nicely decorated. Chef made a good omelette in the mornings. Staff were very nice and really helpful. All of the below was pretty much out their hands and presumably the decisions of the hierarchy.

United KingdomWe upgraded to all inclusive but then that stopped at 11pm. You paid a deposit for towels but if you wanted to change them you’d need to pay a euro per towel to swap. The restaurant gets very busy and noisy.

United KingdomUnfortunately 2 out of the 3 lifts were out of order. It did not affect us at all but families with prams and babies yes. In the restaurant, the wine that comes with the all inclusive option is not great: the white is awful and the red just OK. Stick to Cava or bear or buy bottles. The pizza-pasta section is not very attractive and for some reason the grated cheese bowl is at the beginning of the section which means that you have to come back again to get it and it messes up the queue. But after all, we're in Spain so stick to local dishes! The coffee in the restaurant is awful, if you want a nice coffee, go the various bars where they use proper barista machines. The floor numbering system is a bit confusing at the beginning, but maybe it's just me: Reception is on level 3 (road level) and beach is on level 0. I would much prefer having reception on level 0 then go minus 3 for the beach. But no worries, a leaflet comes in handy! Finally the gym is not very pleasant: difficult to find and no windows nor efficient air-con.
The hotel is very well located (on the beach) and offers great services such as shows, excellent buffet restaurant and very confortable beds. The staff is very nice and always ready to help. The buffet is excellent! The freshly cooked meat and fish counters, the bread section and desserts are outstanding. Very good breakfast too. The Paellas are fantastic! The animation team do a great job and we recommend the Aquagym at 12h00. There are two pools and enough sun loungers for everyone even if you will see towels appearing on them from as early as 6am! The pool on the beach side is sunny only until lunch time. For proper sun tan and fun with the entertainment team, move to the pool at the back in the afternoon. There is a great mix of nationalities too which reminds us how great is Europe. The taxi ride to the airport is 50 minutes and very smooth. We got a ride waiting for us even though our plane had a 5-hour delay. And finally you can catch a tour boat right by the hotel to see dolphins and snorkel!

United KingdomThe reception desk was extremely slow and we had to wait a few times for a much longer than needed. Only 1 of the 3 lifts were working and it is a very small lift, this meant we had to walk up 6 flights of stairs often which is not ideal on a holiday.
The location was great, good food & drink options included in the all inclusive package. The pools are perfect and one with a great sea view. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfortable. The staff are very friendly!

SloveniaIn our stay only one Elevator was working and even that one made some funny noices. It can get really busy in the time of breakfast, lunch and dinner, so we had to walk up the stairs from the beach a few times and if you're in the 7th floor it can get really annoying. But overall would recommend 100%
The food was very good, a lot of choice. The view from the balcony is amazing. The hotel is very beautiful and clean. The beach is literally in front of the hotel (down the elevator and down a few steps). The buses drive constantly to Palma and other locations (busstation is a 3 minute walk away). Mojito at the hotel is handsdown the best, only I still think there wasn't alchohol in it (juices are premixed).

Spainthe parking. they do not have free parking for hotel guest, and neither have charger for electric cars. One of the managers made a big deal to stop for some minutes when lots of cars where park at the entrance. honestly her behavior was a very bad example for the rest of the staff, till that moment our experience went wonderful, we were going to extend our stay for 2 nights and because of that lady manager we left earlier. The rest of the staff was great since the beginning, unfortunately they have the wrong Lider.
Food offer was fantastic, great location, staff was helpful and exceed our expectations. beach access and pool with sea view next to the cocktail bar was awesome nice cocktails and cold beer. we were pretty much touring the island but when we hit the hotel everything we need/expected was there at our service.

United KingdomTwo out of the three elevators were out of order during our stay. This resulted in a bit of a que and the elevator arriving full most times meaning we could not get in. Almost every time we ended up walking up and down 4-7 flights of stairs multiple times per day.
