The room on the ground floor with a glass wall, although spacious, is not very intimate. Guests may feel embarrassed, especially since there is no way to cover themselves from outside. Maybe curtains covering the entire window would be useful. The breakfasts, although very good, could be more varied, as it was the same every day.

Very nice and warm hosts who create this place. Helpful and willing to talk. Feel the artistic soul and family atmosphere. Tiger the cat also behaved like a great host, greeting us every morning and after each return from a trip. Delicious and fresh breakfasts prepared and served by the host.

I have really enjoyed the artsy vibes of the place. Being surrounded by paintings made the stay unique. Daniela and Adriano are always open and very amiable. The breakfast is very good and the terrace very comfortable. You may easily find parking spaces for cars and motorcycles in front of the house.

The mattress was a bit too soft

I stayed for 3 nights. Place was really comfortable,very clean. Owners are helpful and very warm people. 10 min by car or 15 min by bus to Santa Cruz. They make the best smoothie for breakfast 😉. I recommend definitely. 👌

The location was gorgeous, very quiet and relaxing, and the house was full of beautiful paintings. Breakfast was delicious and both Adriano and Daniela were amazing hosts and people. Will return in the future with much joy :D

Can’t fault it. I did my research so I knew where it was located and what to expect. It’s close to the airport and a true home/guesthouse. It’s like visiting a family member’s home ❤️

A bit too humid air in the room for my liking.

The hosts was very kind and helpful. The room had a little kitchen so it's possible to cook for yourself. Very much artwork to view. Roses in every room. Breakfast table was covered with rose leafs and had a classical music background.

Daniela and her husband were super sweet. We really loved the calm and warm place. Only stayed for a night but we would love to come back one day. It feels like a true experience to stay with locals and enjoy the vibe.

Daniella is a gem of a woman, serving a delicious breakfast each morning and taking care of her guests. Location was amazing and quiet, even though it's just 2 minutes of driving below the highway. Good beaches nearby.

The room did not have any lock, neither had the bathroom. Even though we've been ensured the bathroom (separate from our room) is only for our use, we still would have felt better if it had. The house is decorated... a lot. Kind of feels if you're at the museum. Not sure if that is good or bad, probably question of the taste, but we felt a bit rare at the beginning.

The owner was very welcoming. There was enough parking available on the street in front of the house. The owner was willing to advise the best ways to explore the area, handed us some maps, gave some useful advices. The breakfast was charming. The table set was amazing, everything was fresh and tasty.

Location was lovely and peaceful. The owners Daniella and Adriano (and Tigre the cat) were very welcoming and gave us good advice of where to visit. Lovely breakfast each morning and very comfortable rooms. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful family visit to the north of the island.

If you travel without a car this is not the best location. The bus stop is about 7 min walk up the hill and to get off the bus that goes from the international Airport you will have a problem - the bus just doesn't stop there! So be careful if you choose this option and talk to the bus driver first (it didn't stop two times!). I thought the room would be a little bigger, but it is smaller than on pictures. There are two rooms in this apartment. We were lucky to become the bigger one with a separate bathroom. Because the other one is too small (with tini tiny shower and toilet without the door) and only suitable for one person (not for two!). So be attentive when you book! Don't walk to the beach! It was very complicated and we had to walk on the driveway because there were no sidewalks... If you want to go to Santa Cruz in the evening be sure you have a telephone number of some taxi driver, otherwise it is very difficult to find a taxi in the centre after 1 a.m. But better rent a car ;) All in all it was a good stay!

The hosts are very nice people - hospitable, attentive, friendly and super helpful! They prepared a really nice breakfast for us and gave us a lot of advice on the area. We didn't have a car and they picked us up from the bus station. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is separate (you need to go to the hall first) and very spacious. Everything was very clean.

Can’t praise enough Casa Luminosa: a great find that I highly recommend. A very clean and nicely furnished home, with an artsy personality, you’ll like it the moment you step in, warmly greeted by the hosts: sweet Daniela and Adriano. During my stay, I got restful nights in a nice and quiet room with a comfy bed; and an excellent breakfast every morning. The hosts, extremely kind and genuinely friendly, with great smiles that make you feel at home. gave me plenty of good advices on how to go around and what to see. The house is located close to nice beaches (that can be reached by walking) and Santa Cruz. Also an easy ride to many other attractions, in the northern part of the Island. I had a great experience at Casa Luminosa, and I hope to be back soon.. Thank You so much !

The hosts are incredibly kind and friendly, ready to help you whatever you need. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, included home-made smoothie. The owners are kind of people who are absolutely talented to run such business, I guess one can return any time and they will remember you and welcome you as if you were coming home.
