Not much! Down side of being in a quieter area was that we spent quite a bit of time on the metro, but it wasn't a big deal and Barcelona is a big city - you might end up doing this anyway. The area (just down from the hospital clinic), felt more like a business area than a residential area.

This was a beautiful apartment. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed (2 adult and 2 older children for 5 days). We enjoyed looking out of the little balcony down to the streets below. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, including an ice-cream shop and and empanada shop downstairs. The area felt safe and wasn't too busy. It was only a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station, although we often opted to walk 15 minutes to a different metro line - we felt that this was quicker than changing lines at another stop, as you often have a long walk between platforms. We would definitely stay here again. The photo shared is the view from the balcony.

The flat is in pristine condition, it has everything for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal what we were after in Barcelona. This is a large 2 bedroom flat with lovely historic features. Do not hesitate to book it. It was a pleasure to stay at Casa Muntaner. The restaurant Stefano recommended (Paco Meralgo) next door was another highlight of our trip. Thank you

Casa Muntaner is located in a area with many cafes, restaurants and nearby metro. It was very clean and provided an authentic experience in a quaint area. We loved the gelato shop next door which became a daily stop.

The flat has a great location and is well connected to the rest of the city. It is beautiful, clean, and as described. There are plenty of wonderful places around, where you can have a delicious meal and coffee. Nothing really. It was a great apartment in a great location. It's a city...there is noise...not a problem for us but if one is sensitive to that, take that into consideration. We loved the activity on the street! Watching the city wake up and go to bed.

Great location! Easy to walk to places. Great restaurants, markets, attractions, etc. in the neighborhood. Nice park a short walk away. Apartment was clean and well equipped.

You can hear the neighbors from the master bedroom but later at night is quiet and can rest well.

The apartment is gorgeous with original hydraulic ceramic tiles and antique finishes. Windows are noise proof and traffic noise is not a problem. The apartment is very well equipped. And it was very comfortable for our toddler too. He was fascinated by those balconies and spent a lot of time watching outside. Highly recommended.

There isn't much that I didn't like about Casa Muntaner. The only thing that we missed was having toiletries in the bathroom which would have been a nice touch. But this was a minor point and we would definitely stay at Casa Muntaner again.

The flat was very comfortable and clean. It is also in a great location, closed to a number of nice restaurants and the city centre. Stephan was also a great host, very responsive and friendly.

Wirh an elderly relative just a little far from the main attractions to walk...Public transport is close and good and obviously something I should have taken account of before booking...but for couples or young families wouldn't be an issue

The property was very clean and beautiful with everything we needed for the entirety of our trip. The balcony was great, the kitchen was well equipped and we even had complimentary coffee which was so lovely! The beds were comfy, the air conditioning was really easy to use and really good! Stafano and the staff were so lovely and we cannot thank Stafano enough for such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you for saving us when we got locked out at 2am too!
