This place is a gem, rather would like to keep it a secret but a bit selfish not to share.. The design inside the hotel is just fantastic, the whole place with all gardens and additional buildings just amazing. Even that little special like the welcoming for our dogs puts it in a very special category of not just very good but exceptional. A cool spa section that we used with a lot of pleasure as a fantastic ad on especially during a winter visit. I forgot the breakfast experience that keep you having that extra long really enjoyable best described as a brunch. No doubt one of top experiences for us that constantly travel around Europe with our dogs looking for places like this. We will be back soon!

Parking is readily available but maybe I missed this? We arrived on a Saturday might and it was very, very busy as lots of Madrid come out to Segovia on weekends.

Very dog friendly- We have a beautiful room with a little outside terrace and were very happy with it. Found the reception a little difficult to find but that might have been my fault.

Outstanding hotel, well decorated, comfortable beds, soft pillows. Nice and thoughtful touch for our dogs when we arrived. We had a really great stay.

Fabulous Hotel , very quirky but tastefully done, very attentive staff, great room, exceptional bed and facilities. Very dog friendly except there was not an enclosed area to eat with your dog... weather was not great so had to bring a takeaway back to the room. All in all a great place and I am sure we will return

Lovely helpful people especially for us who speak little Spanish. They treated us and our 2 dogs superbly with dog bed bowels and treats . Can honestly say nothing could of been better no Matter what budget . Location perfect lots of bars and restaurants within little walking distance. This is our new stop from either Santander or Bilbao to our place in Murcia

Room spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean. Quirky building with interesting and varied art. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely laid out and adequate to start the day. We didn’t eat at El Rancho in the evening but there is a restaurant

Not much; furniture in the room was a little tired and small detail as it is, although the breakfast was otherwise fine, I’ll echo the sentiment of another reviewer that the scrambled eggs were truly awful - and this is no Brit-tourist-whinge - I live in Madrid and the Spanish do fabulous scrambled eggs. Just not here 😬

Staff lovely, dinner fabulous. They offer secure garaged parking for motorcycles for €10 per night.

Have stayed at El Rancho many times on our journey to southern Spain. It is a lovely hotel with pleasant grounds. The rooms are large with bath and shower and the hotel is dog friendly. Breakfast is good.
