Transparent glass sliding door on the bathroom - with the toilet heading to the bed - in a 15 sqm room: the victory of design over common sense. Please, please consider changing the glass on the door.

Having breakfast on the hotel's terrace as the valley wakes up with the scent of orange blossoms...fantastic. Resting in a comfortable hotel bed after a long day of exploring... You are one of the luckiest people in the world if you ever see Fornalutx. Perfect. Please consider this review as you read the following.

I had a lovely few days here. The hotel location in the village was perfect for me, as I did lots of walking and the village is blessed with being surrounded by beautiful scenery. The hotel staff were great, very friendly and helpful.

Our room was quite small which was okay, but it could’ve benefited from more space for clothes and books and all the other clutter that one brings on holiday! There were lots of hangers, but no shelves or chest of drawers. A grab bar in the shower would have been useful.

Breakfast was fine, though the location of the plates and cutlery kept changing. The views and the location of the hotel were great.

The room we stayed in was fairly outdated and it was a bit of a shock to see that the bathroom door didn’t have a proper handle (there was just a hole in the door so you couldn’t close the bathroom door when using a toilet) which is fairly disappointing when you’re paying 160€/night.

The location is amazing (central) and very good breakfast. Views of the mountains from the room were also stunning.

Room was up 4 flights of stairs which was a bit draining I'm 35 degree weather. As with most towns in Mallorca, parking was a 400m away and the streets were very narrow. Staff were not around much to help organise or provide tips but friendly enough. Pool area is not as described/ pictured as a barrier has been put up to the view.

It was an adorable building, we had a stunning view out of the window with lots of privacy. Very clean and AC worked well.Breakfast was good with the freshly squeezed orange juice.

I loved everything in this hotel. Comfy rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff, amazing view. If I go to Mallorca again, I will go to the same hotel. They even let us go earlier than the actual check-in time.

Too little space in room for clothing. Design over useful function for furniture in room - bulky but inappropriate useless stuff. Shower in bath rather than walk in.

In our room the bathroomdoor was made out of glass so you could look through it so be prepared for little privacy!

We loved our stay in Fornalutx. The hotel is lovely and the room was very clean. We stayed on the second floor with a view on the city which was lovely. The pool and terrace are small but very comfortable and with a great view. Location in Fornalutx is great, max 5 minutes to everything in the town and the busstop. The breakfast was amazing!

The hotel was under renovation, and our room didn't have a bathroom door, or working airconditioning. I'm still eating highly, as they did discount our stay to reflect this.

Fornalutx is a pretty mountain village with lots and lots of steps. Very picturesque but not for anyone with mobility issues.

Hotel location is good with views of the mountains from the bedroom and terrace. Very quite on a narrow street near to the main square with it's bars and restaurants. Good welcome from attentive staff. Our visit was out of season so some places were not open.

The hotel is undergoing major renovations , there were building materials strewn around the reception area , big electric cables coming out of various walls and general air of a building site throughout. Our room had obviously just been completed and lacked curtains .

The location is splendid beautiful views from terrace, and on a quiet street. Breakfast was fine, a little limited but everything was fresh and the coffee machine was good. The honesty bar was a great idea, easy to go down and help yourself to a glass of wine or beer and snacks and just write in the book .

No staff present after approximately 3 pm. Our room faced the street so we were unable to take advantage of the spectacular views!

Location , in the middle of a very pretty Village, was perfect. The hotel is in the middle of an extensive renovation but that did not interfere with the stay. A good buffet self service breakfast was provided. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful.

The first morning we were there we had the breakfast that was included in the price - the meat, cheese and butter were all lukewarm and the coffee machine was broken. My boyfriend had a bowl of cereal and it was clear that the milk had gone off. We tried it again the next day and it was still equally as bad as the first day, so we ended up having breakfast at a bakery in Fornalutx every morning after that. We also were not able to use the pool the entire week that we were there as it was constantly dirty. The location of the hotel was nice and quiet but pretty far away from everything - definitely would have to rent a car.

This was a really pretty and quaint little property in the beautiful village of Fornalutx. Bea is the main person I communicated with and she was so helpful when it came to checking in, finding parking, and even offered to put a little breakfast together for us when we checked out at 3AM to go to the airport. It's also a beautiful building, with incredible charm and character, an authentic Spanish feel. There was also air conditioning that worked very well in the room which made it great for those really warm days.
