We didn't like the loud noise of the neighbours door opening and shutting all the time. It was quite disturbing, especially in the mornings.

Great location for exploring DC, short drive to all the main attractions. The hotel was super close to a shopping area. Our room was spacious and clean. Certainly great value for money.

The biggest negative was that as clean as the hotel was inside, the front entryway had an overflowing trash can outside the entrance. The front entrance is the first thing people see when they enter the hotel and doesn’t represent the business as well as it would if the trashcan was much larger and not overflowing.

Excellent housekeeping staff; outstanding customer service. I had emailed the staff to ask for help getting room with easy access to elevator or on ground floor since I was traveling with my mom and stepmom and they have mobility issues. The employee was very helpful and very customer friendly. The room was clean and housekeeping staff was excellent. Good quality towels and bedding. The service provided was better than a lot of pricier hotels.

Hadn't perceived while booking that I had to pay an extra 50 USD for our dog to stay in the room, and apparently it didn't say in the booking that we had booked a pet friendly room. Got a pet friendly room but with a big unexpected extra cost.

Arrived very late evening and there was parking available, just as we had asked during the booking.

Good breakfast, just across the street there is a supermarket with cooked food and many other food options. 5 minutes to the metro station, where you can park the car and easy get to the center. Good value for a three day stay.

Getting to and from the Comfort Inn can be a challenge during the work week due to Highway 50 traffic. It can be pretty tough so be patient.

Front desk the day we arrived desk clerk wasn’t very friendly. Maybe having a bad day. All others over our 4 night stay were pleasant.

It was the most comfortable stay I’ve had in my 73 years! very clean room, beds were beyond comfortable. Quiet for most part. Breakfast had ample choices for food. Great stay! Will be back.

Not much healthy options for breakfast. Small pillows. There was a loud noise from machinery that we could hear from our room - I complained and the receptionist offered me another room (the solution was quick, but is seems that they knew about the problem beforehand).

Staff friendly and kind (across the team - reception, breakfast, room services). The room was cleaned everyday. Free parking. Price was competitive.

Parking could be designated better. Forcing guests with cars to park near the construction equipment on the backside, away from entry points, is not a good look. Allowing oversized trucks and trailers to park across 5 or 6 spots is unacceptable—no question they should be designated to the backside of the building where other busses and work trucks are parked. The pickup trucks/passenger vans also constantly affected maneuverability in the lot (making it unnecessarily tight due to their size). The easy fix is not allowing these larger vehicles/trucks/trailers to park in the standard-size spots. It was also highly irritating getting blocked in to the hotel lot several times when trying to leave the property because the curbside "arrival area" outside the front door is not wide enough to accommodate in/out flow when people leave their cars in that corridor. Quite literally I could not leave the lot due to guests lingering in their vehicles in this narrow driveway like it was their home driveway. Unacceptable, but another easy fix. Do not allow parking or standing in this area.

The cleanest Comfort Inn you'll find anywhere in the area, with mostly ample parking options (barring rude guests who block multiple spots with their huge trucks and trailers, which isn't necessarily the fault of staff—though they should absolutely have a designated area for these types of vehicles, and enforce it). Breakfast was plenty ample although the options stay the same every day and, as expected, aren't "high-end" items. I would not recommend the lemon-infused water simply because it sits all day and there's really no way to know how clean the vat is that it sits in—though it's a nice gesture. The coffee is acceptable but would recommend getting it from lobby station versus the machine in the breakfast area—the machine coffee is quite terrible. I did appreciate that the coffee was available throughout the day, however, and it was always hot. Overall, breakfast offerings here are perfectly acceptable. I would encourage any light sleeper, and those sensitive to second-hand smoke, to request a room on the third floor. I was initially on the second floor, and the noise level of guests walking in the room(*s*) above, as well as anyone walking in the hallway, was very loud and constant. There tended to be far more smokers and disruptive guests on the first and second floors, but once moved to the third floor all issues were resolved. Simple fix! The level of cleanliness was honestly impressive and exceeded my expectations for a hotel in this category. Sufficient towels, lighting, clean bedding, updated furniture/carpeting, regular housekeeping available (if desired), and a pretty comfortable bed. The hotel is located near plenty of food options, and D.C. is plenty accessible for those traveling for the purpose of visiting the Capitol. Staff were kind, accommodating, and upon needing to extend my stay through a new reservation, granted my request for the same room I'd been in, without hesitation.
