Parking was expensive (valet only when you arrive) and no towels for swimming pool unless you buy it (10€). The beach is not made of fine sand (real disappointment)

Staff was not very friendly. Everything you touched cost to upgrade. Horrible customer service experience with Booking.com. Booking.com passes on sensitive information to fraudulent individuals! They can’t offer any support if you have issues with a property. Book directly with the property and skip booking.com.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Short walk to many restaurants and bars. Breakfast was superb with everything you could wish for. Lots of areas throughout the hotel to sit and enjoy the beautiful views or read a book.

Breakfast was minimalistic, the view is great but the food is really not worth the price.

Perfect location right next to the beach with a great view of the sea from a lot of the rooms and the dining area. Friendly staff and good services (including a shuttle to the station).

Wi-Fi could be better & the bathtub/shower was a little awkward

Beautiful property steps from the beach with great views from the rooms overlooking the sea. Clean, comfortable rooms equipped with a fridge and coffee. Being able to fall asleep to the sounds of waves crashing was great !

We stayed half board and the food was outstanding, congratulations to the chef. The staff was super friendly. The hotel is conveniently located with amazing views over the bay of Tossa de Mar.

A few things could make this villa perfect; Some solar lights in the garden. It was very dark at night so had to sit in the small terrace. A full length mirror Coffee making facility (we did ask at reception at night but think receptionists didn’t understand. However on checking out I mentioned it again and was told that there should be one in the villa and they will check why it’s not there)

The hotel villa enabled us to spend more time together than if we were in individual rooms so was perfect for our visit. The villa has 3 bedrooms all with very comfortable beds and two bathrooms, one of them an ensuite. The kitchen was a decent size with dishwasher and washing machine and good sized fridge freezer. There was a seating area outside.

While it didn’t bother me, anyone who struggles with walking up hills or steps might find getting up to the hotel difficult.

This hotel is in an amazing location close to the beach and only a short walk to the main town. The facilities are fantastic and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was perfect with a very comfortable bed. The room had a fantastic view and eating breakfast overlooking the sea was amazing.

I totally disliked the dinner. The food in general had a weak quality.

We didn’t have any issue’s but if you have mobility problems be aware the hill up to the hotel is quite steep.

This hotel is very clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great with a small beach which has a beach bar serving drinks and bar food next to the hotel and lots of bars and restaurants at the other side.

1. We took care not to keep our key close to phones but each evening we had issues with keys not opening. 2. One of the nights looked like a heavy storm was coming and decided to stay in but TV is outdated and doesn't connect to smart devices and as English speaker, couldn't understand local channels

As it is a 4 stars beachfront hotel, it is expected they should offer beach service and also offer beach towel, even if it is for rent, but not at all for sale (as they do). They could also be more reasonable in the daily rate for the car parking.

Balcony was small and didn't get the sun, but to be honest we'd had too much sun on the beach all day, so it didn't bother us at all.

Very clean, room service was very good, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, location on the beach was excellent, and because Tossa is a small town, it was only a very short walk to the centre.

The parking cost €20 per day seemed a bit too high.

Great location, fantastic sea view / rocky shore views. The hotel is very well maintained (despite its age) and the staff is highly attentive to every detail. There are 3 levels of restaurants - all with superb sea views. Interesting architecture overall. The pool was probably heated - very comfortable (25°C in mid-June). The fan (ventilator) in the bathroom of our room was quite noisy; after reporting it at the reception, they repaired it within a few hours. That's remarkable!
