In the past when we have booked a double room we have always had a front facing room , spacious plenty of light; unfortunately this time we were given a double room which was very cramped and had a window overlooking a wall, it was also very warm and stuffy and difficult to get any air circulating. The bed was smaller than the average double bed , probably due to the size of the room. That said I feel it was a lesson learnt when booking as we had thought all the double rooms were the same , we have since been advised that you need to be specific about any request for a room preference .

We have stayed at the hotel several times and it has always been value for money , great location , clean , good facilities and an excellent breakfast.

The bed was a little bit hard but that is purely a personal view, we had a good nights sleep

We really enjoyed our one night stay in this hotel, right in the centre of town close to the park and royal palace, plenty of bars and restaurants within a minutes walk, we booked a room with balcony, the room was spotless with a fantastic bathroom, coffee making facilities and free water in the fridge

I'm not sure if it was part of an energy-saving initiative, but upon our arrival, the room was warm and comfortable. However, there were times, especially in the mornings and late at night, when it felt somewhat cold.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the facilities maintained cleanliness. It's worth noting that the breakfast is distinctly Spanish, which may seem modest to some—comprising a croissant, some juice, and coffee or tea. While it's neither extravagant nor disappointing, it's adequate. Taking everything into account, I would recommend it. The value received for the price paid is worthwhile.

The toilet seat was loose and needed fixing, slipping when sitting on it. The Shower Door looks like it could be a problem doesn't slide very well on the right. No soap in the dispenser in the shower. No plug in the plug hole in the hand basin. Difficult to park although we did get parked eventually. Lots of taxi drivers around the entrance as a taxi rank is there, all drivers hanging around smoking by the entrance. Breakfast was diabolical , we had to go to the the restaurant next door and were offered coffee, orange juice, and a toasted stale roll which was so hard I could only eat one part. Offered nothing else. The worst breakfast I think I have ever had anywhere. Very noisy outside at night right by a bus stop and cafe/restaurant underneath. Residents living in an apartment next door were talking drinking and smoking until 2.30am

The Room & size was excellent, very large room with a large bed, and the bed was quite comfortable. The TV was smart but too smart, couldn't find anything to watch, no English TV and difficult to even watch a Spanish news program so we didn't watch anything in the end. Coffee machine in the room but only 2 pods, asked for more and was told we could buy coffee in the next-door restaurant!!! Not very helpful. Also had to get the desk manager to come up to sort out the air con unit, not switched on in the control box!! The man on reception was very helpful.

Basic breakfast but sufficient. We have stayed here several times and it’s an ideal location when driving from the south of Spain to the ferry port in Santander. We are always remembered by Juan Luis who is happy to provide anything different to make our stay more comfortable.

Small room and not many breakfast options (toast or croissant). You get what you pay for, the room is a hostel room (so meant for only sleeping)

Very nice shower, plenty of charging sockets. The room is a bit d-fashioned and simple but everything is comfortable and clean.

The condition of the furniture, walls, and curtains is not good. Thanks to the cleanness, it was ok to stay there, otherwise we would have not do it

There wasn't really anything we did not like, but felt it would be helpful to have a spare blanket in the wardrobe, as we had to ask for one.

Excellent location, lovely room with pleasing view, very comfy bed, good breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, including helping us out with information and sorting out a request. It was also great to have an on-site café-bar area, which provided good food and drink at fair prices. We felt the Hostal was very tastefully decorated and arranged, making the stay very pleasant indeed. There was also on street parking available nearby and a train service to Madrid, helpful on both counts.

The hotel has a half dozen or so designated parking spaces out front on a public street. I was charged 10 euros a night to use one. I could have parked around the corner for free.

It is a renovated, quiet hostel is located a few meters from the Royal Palace of Aranjuez and in the street of the infantas. Room and bathroom well. They gave us a room with no views but quiet. Stairs to the second floor. Juan Luis did not attend very well upon arrival.Continental breakfast and in the bar that is next to the hotel

I booked and paid extra for 2 superior rooms to make use of the coffee machine. My room definitely wasn't a superior room even though I checked, it was tiny. Neither of the rooms I booked had a coffee machine so the €40 upgrade was wasted money

Unfortunately there was no lift which was difficult for some of our party who are disabled but the staff were really helpful and assisted us as much as possible.

Comfortable hotel right in the centre of town.The restaurant and bar downstairs is very popular and the tapas was great, would recommend.

The bed had some sort of plastic sheeting under the lower sheet which I found unpleasant. The single long pillow was filled with something artificial and to me, brought up with down feather pillows, uncomfortable. The noise from the street is quite something although I am used to complete silence in the country in Andalucía. On the Sunday night there was quite some noise from the neighbouring guests. But perhaps I am over sensitive.

The people at reception were very kind and helpful. The cleaning staff were good and friendly too. Otherwise I only used the dining room for the breakfast. The man who served me on both days was kind. It was good to find a table in the room.
