The hotel is close to a metro station, which makes it easy to reach the centre of Madrid. The room was a bit small, but still convenient for a night or two in the city.

There were three keys used to gain room access through various doors. The front door grill was tricky to open so going in and out of my room was a process - on the plus side security was good. The place was a bit noisy: doors and keys on the inside, traffic on the outside. I didn't think it was the best value, but this may be typical of the space available for the money.

Great location in a heritage area building. A charming antique lift is used to access the hostal on the fourth floor of the building. The room was fine for one person but would be a squeeze for two as the two single beds were shoved up against a wall since there was no other space. Ditto for finding luggage storage. The bathroom was compact but everything worked as expected. The room was also quite clean. The staff were excellent!

2 separate beds in the room, limited space for luggage in the room. Small bathroom. No luggage storage for the full day.

Comfortable room with tiny balcony, small bathroom including shampoo sachets and soap. Free tea and coffee in the hallway. Friendly staff and the option to leave luggage after checkout in the room. Location with many restaurants around.

A little noisy outside the room. You can hear other guests from the other room etc. But it is not a big problem.

The location is very convenient and well connected to must-see places. All you need is around this area. The room is clean. The hostel allowed for late check out and to leave the luggage in the room. Highly appreciated! :)

The wall are thin. The price is very high for what you get.

The location is close to atoche rail station and there are some good restaurants around the hostal. It is Perfect for people who are in transit. The rooms are clean.

Not being able to leave the luggage at the hotel. This was a huge inconvenience, as my bus was leaving late in the afternoon. There are lockers along Calle de Atocha), but you have to book them online. I would stay here again though.

Excellent location, easily reached on foot from Atocha station. Lively neighborhood with everything at your doorstep, ie shops, market, metro, Reina Sofia etc. Lift to the 4th floor. I had a double for single use, with a little balcony overlooking the street. The room was spotless, high ceiling and all white. Very comfortable bed. All good. .

Signs of hostal not clear enough downstairs on the door bell, easy to miss. It would be great if a chair and a small table is provided, which will make some computer jobs much easier. Hope it will have a fridge!

Good value, close to train station (walk 10 mins), within reasonable walking distance to most of the city attractions, antique elevator with wrought iron gate and fine wooden door with a bench inside, hot shower, cool a/c, comfy bed, check-in time 1:30 pm, coffee provided, nice receptionist, though absent upon our arrival. Good choice!

The room is not sound-proof so there was some noises coming from the street and hallway, best to have earplugs
