A very weird system of controlled heating across all the hostel was strange to me u dont have control on the temperature or the mode of the AC inside ur room

Amazing location right next to Sol in the heart of madrid center. Rooms are clean and comfortable, room 408 inhumanely small but i saw the rest of the room they were fine, and they were nice and offered to change it when something else was available. Value for price very very good

the noses from other guests the have children was running in the early morning. however I can understand that the hostel does not control them , but they could ask The parents to control their noisy children

The only negative point but for us didn’t matter much is that the room is tiny and tight.

The location was perfect near everything on foot. The room was clean and warm and didn’t have that smell of old + cigarette smoke. The bed was very good and comfy.

Name says its a hostel but it doesnt have any sort of cooking facilities, not even just a microwave. Not very convenient for travellers on a budget.

I was called in the middle of the night. They asked me something I didn’t understand. I really didn’t want to be disturbed when I was sleeping and that really made the whole stay in the hotel worse. Otherwise everything was good

The location was great (very close to Sol) and the room was clean and quiet. It was a little small, but perfectly enough for a single traveler who only wants to sleep there at night (as in my case); and the price was very good.

I went to Madrid to see the 'La Vuelta Espania' and the Hostal Victoria 111 was so close to where I wanted to be. The room was comfortable and very clean. I had a single bed which was very comfy. The lady who cleaned, and was on reception too, (but I never got her name), was lovely, and very helpful.

The rooms near the reception are a bit noisy, but that's not a problem for heavy sleepers. I also wish the night shift lady had better information for recommendations.

Carmelia and the rest of the staff are very nice ladies. Carmelia is all the time cleaning, my room was spotless every day. Fresh towels and linen every day too, that's a big plus. The location is fabulous, within walking distance from everything. The single rooms are small but comfortable enough, the AC works perfectly, so does the shower and the mattress is also a good mattress to sleep in.

I booked a double room for 2 people. I specifically selected double bed on booking.com with my mouse. You could select double bed or twin room with 2 single beds. The receptionist said there were no double rooms anymore available and that the confirmation received from Booking was "double room OR twin room". So instead they gave me a twin room with two small beds and ruined what could have been the perfect ending to a date. I booked for 2 people but ended up only me sleeping in that room and I had travelled from Valencia. Thanks a lot booking.com. I have booked through this site countless times and never experienced this issue. I want my money back.

A little hard to find the hotel. Bathroom was tiny with no place to put toiletries. Our room adjoined the lobby so we could hear the phone and any conversations. The lobby sometimes smelled like cigarette smoke.

The AC worked very, very well. It was a good location just a block away from the main square and metro station. It is very, very secure. You buzz in on the first level, then you take the elevator and buzz in to get to the front desk again. And then you use your room key to get in.

Hotel in two buildings. To get to our room we entered one, used lift to 5th floor, then meandering around corridors until going down to fourth floor and then into adjoining building and down again to our 3rd floor room. Alternative of going into that building entrance and climbing 3 floors in Madrid heat too daunting.
