The dinner starts only on 8PM. If you come earler, you will need to wait with empty stomaches :) there is snack bar, but they have only drinks.

The bedroom had no tea and coffee facilities which were a little bit of a letdown.

The hotel was just perfect, and in a perfect location. The Restaurant on site served very good food! The starters were amazing … especially the Game Patè!! The bedroom was spotless , comfortable and the bedding and pillows were the best of any hotel I’ve stayed in .

The extraction fan from the kitchen could be heard from our room. Not terrible but if you want absolute silence ask for a silent bedroom.

The hotel is a beautiful converted convent that was built in 1603. A peaceful location with immaculatly clean bedrooms with all of the facilities you could possibly require.

Normally we do not complain as we are not demanding guests but... The smell in the bathroom was terrible and ventilation did not help. After every shower, all bathroom was literally wet and smelling terribly. We stayed for 2 nights only so we did not complain as we were using the room only for sleeping. If we were staying longer, we would not be able to tolerate the terrible smell from the bathroom. Breakfast is only partially buffet - one must ask for the orange juice and eggs wich we hated as you get only one small cup of the juice per person and also only 2 eggs. Unlike some, we enjoy a salty breakfast, not the sweet one so we only eat eggs, ham and similar stuff in the morning. If we have to keep asking for eggs, it is likely we are staying hungry after the breakfast. The same applies to orange juice - if you are stingy and not able to offer the real juice as it is too expensive, just offer some juice from the supermarket, nobody asks you to squeeze the oranges, but a buffet breakfast must offer at least some juice (without having to ask for it) and lemonade and water do not count as such. There is no coffee in the room, we paid 2 eur for the coffee at the cafeteria instead. The floor in the room was cold.

Our room was in a nice historical building, it was of a good size and clean. Some parts of the breakfast (such as croissants and salami) were nice. The location and decorations were great, as well as parking.

Nothing to dislike - the pickiest of hotel inspectors would holiday here. Fabulous value for money!

Beautiful old world feel to this tranquil place. Grand rooms, great staff, lovely grounds. We had a Junior Suite and it did not disappoint: spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean, massive stone veranda & the bathroom was amazing. Pool was closed for winter, but still nice to walk around and view.

The beds' mattresses were surprisingly soft and seemed a bit old.

Amazing location with a private forest and a breathtaking historical building, tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended to switch off in an oasis of tranquility!
