Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyVery noisy: you could hear everything in the corridor but also there was a vent that was working the whole night outside the window (I stayed in two different rooms and I always heard it). Lastly, the bathroom of one room was a bit smelly.
Great location and new facilities.

BrazilI regret I couldn’t spend one or two more days there
s the best three stars hotel I’ve ever been. It values every cent spent there. Room comfort and decoration (matching the monuments around), staff gentleness and efficiency and location is all amazing. Don’t miss it if you can afford.

United KingdomLiterally nothing.
Super friendly staff, who kindly allocated us the most glorious and peaceful room, with views of the Alhambra and cathedral. We were there one night only, sadly, and (of course!) plan a return visit. Unquestionably recommended. Thank you to the fabulous and friendly team.

SwitzerlandThe bathroom had a bed smell i informed the employees, maybe connected to any sanitary cable...hope it is fixed. My room was very small but confy.
The breakfast is very good. The hotel has a very nice small and cozy terrace with the view of the Alhambra. It is beautiful and in the old town, walking distance to all amenities of the city. The hotel recommend a Flamenco show that was very intimate and beautiful. I LOVED it. Next time need to organize better. Alhambra was fulled booked for months ahead! My trip was spontaneous next time will stay again here!

United KingdomNothing of note
Located on a square in the town surrounded by trees and restaurants, but with the windows closed at night a quiet nights sleep was available. The staff were friendly and on arrival the booking in process was excellent with a map provided of the area and useful information regarding the attractions etc were marked and explained. The room occupied a corner position on the second floor and was light and very clean. Breakfast was typically what you expect in Spain, breads, meat, cheese and fruit, plenty of choice.

United StatesAir conditioning was not "available yet," and too noisy outside to leave windows open. Hotel is located on Plaza de Bib-Rambla, which is full of outdoor restaurants like all the other plazas in the area. A very safe and busy area, just not very charming. Note that here you pay in full when you make the reservation online, no refunds etc. so apparently no flexibility if your plans need to change closer to travel time.
Very new and modern facility, not the old Bella Granada now. Hotel has a nice rooftop terrace w views. Convenient location, near cathedral. You can walk to the Alhambra in about 30 minutes if you are fit. Breakfast was very good but expensive (14 E) so eat up and skip lunch.

FinlandNicely decorated room. I especially liked the kelim rug, the pouf, the wooden lamps as well as the wooden (look alike) floor. A lot of space for clothes. The terrace on the 5th floor with a view over the plaza was super! Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast.

BrazilNothing, really. Everything was perfect! I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.
The property is in an old building that was recently renovated so you get the best out of both worlds: being downtown, in the charming plaza, while also having nice, comfy and functional facilities in the bedroom and overall hotel. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful in adapting my check-in so I could change before hitting my Alhambra tour.

United KingdomMaybe a bit more furniture in the room. I like to write a daily journal, so a table or desk may have been helpful. However, the rooftop terrace enabled me to do this comfort. In retrospect, I ought to have booked a longer stay in Granada. I am hopeful of returning in the near future.
My room was on the first floor and close to reception, which turned out to be fortuitous. On my first night there was a panic when I was locked out of the bathroom, due to a fault in the door handle. I reported this to reception, but there was only one member of staff on duty and he was busy checking in other guests. He eventually came to assess the problem and then fetched a tool box. He phoned the maintenance guy, put him on loudspeaker, and a temporary solution was devised, pending a full repair the next day when I would be out visiting the Alhambra. I was mildly inconvenienced, hence I've knocked a couple of points off my rating. Otherwise the room was lovely. It overlooked the Plaza Bibbrambla, but with the shutters closed I was not disturbed by noise. The breakfast was more than adequate for my needs. On the 5th. and top flloor there is a terrace with fantastic views of the city, the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountains. I bought drinks and snacks from reception and spent time up there making calls, messaging friends and writing my journal. The hotel is situated in a pedestrianised area. The taxi drop-off/pick-up point is on Plaza de Carmen, about 100 metres away. Hotel staff were very helpful and knowledgable.
