A lot of ground work on the board walk which took the look of the accommodation.smell of sewage in the bathroom..

Location was good ,and if the board was finished it would improve the hotel

What is advertised as direct access via 2 gates to the beach from the pool area is currently shut and overlooking a building site, it looks like they could be extending the promenade between the hotel and the beach. The view from the room balconies was marred by said building site. The hotel needs attention, very shabby paintwork, ugly rusty spiral stairs between room balconies, piled up patio chairs next to the stairs leading to the rooms... The adjacent beach bar and restaurant I saw online is closed (seasonal?).

Muchas Gracias to Andres on reception, an efficient, welcoming and charming host, he went out of his way to explain the routes to the nearest shops, best places to visit and the busiest bakery in town! He cheerfully organised taxis and allowed us to store our suitcases after check out. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, good wifi. The sea view (roof terrace a real bonus!!) and the proximity to the beautiful La Mata beach is splendid, the pool sparkling.

There was nothing we disliked. It was a self catering suite and filled just what we needed.It was close to shops , bank and on the doorstep of the weekly market. Would recommend.

We booked for a group of 5 people but only 1 large and 2 small towels were provided the night of our arrival. In the morning when the cleaning staff was there, we got more towels. It is not the easiest access to the bedroom area downstairs, as it is a narrow and steep staircase to descend. Only slim, able-bodied people can fit and climb it. Ceiling fans are a good idea because without windows, the air circulation was not good.

Location is excellent! Clean and well-kept facilities are appreciated.

The room was a bit dark but had a pool out in the sunshine so the cool area outside the apartment was welcomed when it was too hot One thing I hated every day was the cleaners seem to travel in groups of 3 and chatted very loudly to each other ( very unprofessional) this became irritating when you wanted a peaceful morning

Location and privacy It was a good price and couldn’t have been happier with how clean the room and linen Room serviced everyday - quite late in the day but that was fine if you love a lie in while on holiday Right next to the beach and a lovely market just outside the door on a Wednesday Lots of little bars and very nice local people - mostly Spainish not loads of ex pats 😊 perfect !!

Great stay,right on the beach in the centre of La Mata,managed to check in early and the 12pm check out was great. Nice facilities,room was comfortable and the restaurant and bar next door was fab. Will definitely visit again.

room was very nice could have done with small kitchen and table and chair so you could sit out side appartment but being so close to beach was a bonus .beach was amazing and location to restaurarnts and bars was fantastic LLOYDS BAR WAS BRILLIANT TWO LOVEY YOUNG LADIES WHO SERVERED IN BAR WERE FABULOUS ENJOYED OUR WEEK THANK YOU

Neighbours at the pool may be quite noisy. Take your own shower tools and shampoos as hotel does not provide.

Good location at the beach that is not crowded. Simple but clean. Makes sense for bigger families or groups - rooms for up to 6-8 people to fit in. Number of restaurants nearby as hotel does not offer eating. Receptionist gives good recommendations on paper map provided by hotel.

Stairs for going down to sleeping area were very narrow and needed to be very careful when went up or down with luggage.
