Loved all the little extras they put out for the dog, there was a secure dog area. The room was lovely and clean and they gave us a little bag of treats for a journey when we left

The receptionist, Alice, went out of her way to be welcoming and sincerely friendly. She told me all about the history of the Hotel and it's a warm family run business. I don't usually give feedback but I have made an exception in this well deserved 4 Star ⭐ Hotel.

Being charged 15 euros for each dog - we had three so it was 45 euros - seemed excessive.

Absolutely loved every aspect of this beautiful hotel. We were travelling with dogs and they were welcomed, and a dining area where we could bring the dogs along was provided. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming.

Unstable, or rather unavailable WiFi connection. Remained old food in refrigerator. Price of the third nigh was for 6 € more expensive without explanation, I have realized it in the bill just at home :-(. Coffe and tea bags in the room were not refilled.

Desayuno was perfect, rich and tasteful, combined from European and Spanish traditional dishes. Diner was OK too, namely Tender veal, unfortunately Entrecote from menu was not available and substitution by Pork chop, although good, was not as good as I would wish. Delicious red vine Inurrieta Quatrocientos. Nice, spacious and cozy rooms. Great restaurant and lovely attendants in there and in the reception too.

This hotel has a lot of good points, staff were helpful and pleasant, hotel buildings were unique, beautiful and well maintained and very clean. Our dogs were made welcome and there was a designated small exercise pound which was very helpful and appreciated. Parking was plentiful and situated within the hotel grounds. All together a very enjoyable experience on what was a very long journey from Spain to the UK. Highly recommended.

Bathroom needed to be checked, sadly hairs found on the edge of the bath . Need to sort out shower screen, big gap means water ends up on floor. Spa nice but not first thing . Dry sauna never heated up sufficiently in 50 minutes and I had to ‘phone reception to get the lights and steam working in the other . If you have a room in the front and have the window open road noise not good .

Convenient location, lovely building . Friendly helpful staff . Great dinner , excellent choice at breakfast . Happy to hear more electric chargers planned. One was fine for us as we were there when the hotel wasn’t busy.

Coffee machines - didn't cater for people that enjoy large coffees with hot milk.

Amazing hotel but want to keep it a secret ha ha - otherwise we won't get in next time! Stayed 4 times so far on our road trips from Caen to southern Spain. Everything is perfect - beautiful, clean, comfortable bedrooms, all mod cons, staff really friendly & efficient, delicious breakfast with hot & cold choices, good evening meal but limited choice. Good bar & very reasonably priced alcohol. Plenty of parking.

The breakfast was delicious, a big choice of all the breakfast foods you can imagine! The staff was friendly and helpful. We really appreciate a small goodbye gift and our dog was so pleased with dog cookies. We had an amazing weekend. We will come back.

The restaurant could perhaps have been open a little later than 8pm, however the bar was still open and the room service ran until 10:30pm which was great.

Proximity to the motorway. It was pet friendly and came with pet beds, bowls and menu, they even had a gated doggy garden outside to let pets off the leash. They gave us a very warm welcome, professional staff, all-in-all superb. We will hopefully be coming back soon!

Ran out of our favorite spirits behind the bar but that is nothing. On our second visit the bar was better stocked.

The hotel and staff were above what we expected. A warm welcome and lovely spacious rooms. Plenty of parking spaces. The bonus was they are pet friendly.

(Dislike is too strong, more of a warning). This is a very old building and there are lots of steps in this hotel, but very few hand-rails. This could be a problem for people with mobility problems. Also the floors in the public areas are tiled with 3-d patterned tiles, making them a bit challenging to walk on if you have mobility problems. The bathroom door was a sliding door, which did not have a decent handle and was heavy, making it difficult to open and shut.

Although on a main road, this hotel is quiet. Reception staff were excellent and offered us a choice of rooms. Restaurant staff were welcoming and although we did not have a common language, we made ourselves understood. Food was good and plentiful. We were even given a present of fruit and water to take with us on our onward journey.
