Maica was absolutely wonderful, couldn’t do enough to make my stay as relaxing as possible. Pool was lovely, Maica provided snacks and food and was so helpful. A great wee place and would definitely go back.

The rural property is lovely and a short drive or bus outside of Santiago de Compostela. There is a beautiful pool and gardens, loungers and a table tennis table for enjoyment. She also does lovely big breakfasts each morning with fresh and different foods each day. The host and her daughter are so friendly and went out of their way to be kind and helpful. She gave us sightseeing tips, booked us a taxi and went out of her way for my girlfriend's special dietary requirements. Fully recommend a stay there.

We loved our stay here. Our room was very comfortable and we were able to use the shared areas of the house like the kitchen which was very useful. Our hosts were amazing- so thoughtful and kind. It was a great base for town and beach excursions.

What a fabulous stay! The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, the place is beautiful and if you like walking, you can walk to the closest restaurants (a little bit of a hike). It's a short drive from the airport, but you feel you're in the middle of the countryside. As others have said, the breakfast was amazing and you're actively encouraged to eat and enjoy as much as you like. I can't say enough good things about Casa Rural Osvilares.

The host Casia went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable and had plenty to eat and drink; breakfast was exceptional. After the variable quality of accommodation on the Camino it was a pleasure to stay here.

It was fantastic to stay in a semi rural environment so close to the action in the city centre. The property was amazing and so peaceful. Maica was a beautiful host and so generous in wanting to make our stay a great one. Her breakfast’s were amazing with such attention to detail with beautiful home grown fresh produce. We had the front room which was spacious and well appointed. We took advantage of the sitting areas also. A most wonderful stay!!

EVERYTHING! the owner is amazingly lovely. The breakfast was so good and everything home made. Even the eggs are from the chickens arround. The beds very comfortable. Very nice and quiet. Less than 10 min from the center by car but in the middle of the nature. In essence, far better than expectations!

This is an exceptional inn. That said, without a car, I am not sure it would be worth the time and money to stay here. If you are travelling with your own vehicle, you MUST stay here. Very convenient to Santiago with a vehicle -- an oasis on the outskirts of the city.

This was one of my favorite lodging experiences, and I've stayed in about 1000 places. Maica's hospitality is extraordinary: she is the perfect innkeeper. The property is atmospheric and calming, and just on the outskirts of town so convenient by car to Santiago. Maica will even tell you where to get free parking for your sightseeing. Our room was large and comfortable: I think Maica gave us a free upgrade to the nicest room she had left. Breakfast was excellent and certainly worth the few Euro she charged. Overall, this property provides extraordinary value for money.

NOTHING!! It was perfect!!

We loved it. We wanted to stay forever!! Maica was the best hostess. She treated us like royalty. Wonderful homemade breakfast with eggs cooked to order from her chickens and real coffee. The building is fascinating it is 100s of years old but very clean and well kept. The grounds were beautiful and we had free parking inside the gate. We loved that it was away from the crowds and traffic yet only minutes from everything.

The host was excellent, she made us very welcome and very attentive. There were lots of lovely extra touches. It is out of the town, but if you are happy to walk 15 min to the bus stop or 50 into the centre of Santiago it is great. It is a nice walk through courtyard side and then through the old town. There is a lovely pool and garden plus a terrace you can eat at. Breakfast was great, good selection and different each day. Meat, cheese, fruit, nice bread, fresh eggs, home made cake, yogurt, sandwich etc. So helpful and kind. Exceeded our expectations. Lovely country house next to a couple of other farm houses.

Excellent stay, very friendly and lots of lovely touches, a fabulous gem of a place to stay plus great breakfast. Rural, but accessible to the town walking or by bus if happy to walk 15 min to bus stop or walk into town. Safe and friendly.
