Beautiful hotel on a quiet street in walking distance to lovely shopping and restuarants...exceptional breakfast and very friendly staff i would recommend to anyone...a short trip to museums but very walkable..it was however very hot in madrid when we stayed and we still walked..

The salon has exquisite good taste, with marble walls and columns, and antique paintings and furniture. The terrace is a fresh escape from the city. Rooms have a lovely decor, there is a velour curtain that gives you pitch darkness for sleeping. The shower space is big.

The property is so elegant and the decor is magnificent!!

first floor room, near the street you can hear everything. but it didnt matter because the staff in the hotel was more than perfect!

everything from the moment I arrived till checkout. All the staff and particularly Nicholas were extremely helpful. They made us feel like queens and our rooms would be cleaned every time we go out, twice a day! i never stayed in a hotel where they clean our room twice a day! it was fantastic. also, they place oil massage for the foot on you bed every evening. this oil is amaaazing it cools your feet after a long walk in the city. i asked if i could have more and Nicholas was very generous. upon checkout, the reception gave us cappuccinos as a complimentary before going to the airport. honestly, i you want to stay in Madrid dont think of any other hotel. the hotels area is very chic.

It might have been nice to have carpets on the bedroom floors.

It was wonderfully cosy and extremely spoiling. The staff were amazing-Incredibly helpful, smiley and thoughtful. Martina the receptionist was exceptional and really made our stay special, finding out information and giving us directions. We took our car and the young man who parked it went out of his way to make it as easy as possible to retrieve our belongings and bring to the room. He even sourced tea bags for us when none were available! The restaurant food was delicious-we had the tasting menu-and our breakfast the next day was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect, walking distance from all the main attractions.

The restaurant was understaffed and one of the regular waitresses was incompetent and seemd not to have any training .

The breakfast was good but should have been invluded in the room rate. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Loud music from bar outside, construction work all day outside, robe was ripped, no hand soap in the room, room service menu app broken, and i got charged twice on two cc and rectifying that has been frustrating.

very poor soundproofing. I heard all the neighbors, every rustle. especially if the room is like ours near the elevator - it's very noisy, I heard all the suitcases and so on. given that I was with a dog and it was also very disturbing for her.

it’s very nice space, clean and comfortable. very good soft beds and pillows! I warned that I will be with a pet, when we came a bed and a bowl were waiting for us in the room. it is very pleasant.
