Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe hotel was closed so I was the only guest. Owners made up for this with their welcome and attention. When I booked the swimming pool looked great, but it was closed for winter.
Made to feel very welcome, excellent room with great views. Location great, unfortunately weather did not allow me to fully appreciate this on an overnight stop.

United KingdomI booked the hotel based on the swimming pool picture but the depth was close to a meter and a half which made it unusable for beginner like me or kids. I have not seen anyone used it either during our stay. It was not a close location to the beach being 2.5 km walk hence I was disappointed with the price.
Breakfast was good with fruit, fresh orange juice maker and usual continental stuff. Staff helped with booking taxis for local trips as it was hard for us to explain location to Spanish taxi drivers. They provided couple of fans which were useful.

FranceThere is no air conditioning but we used the fan every night.
The hotel is located between the beach and the motorway, which is, in my opinion, a good location to avoid the intense traffic close to the beach. The location is at the end of a dead-end street which makes it very calm with view overlooking the river. The rooms for 4 are not big but well distributed which makes the stay comfortable. We did not have diner there because we preferred to go by the seaside. We had breakfast at “Gallofa & Co” on the main square of the village. The great feature of the hotel is the covered swimming pool that is of good size. Both the air and the water are at nice temperature. The hotel provide towels for free.
