The small spa is not part of the hotel and a visit to the sauna and jacuzzi costs € 20/hour, which is equivalent to a half day entrance elsewhere. It’s also closed from 2-4 pm every day.

NOTE - the pool and beach club is under construction currently. While there is still beach access, it is not so glamorous. You can walk or drive down a dirt road with steep incline. Transparency about this by the hotel would have been appreciated greatly. Also note, the location is quiet and secluded, but it involves going up and down a set of switchbacks on dirt road to get to the hotel. Hotel is somewhat updated, but definitely dated and older. The shower would get hot (scalding hot!) and then cold randomly while using without adjusting the temperature whatsoever. Overall, not sure if it was just off season funk, but we felt the staff were nice enough, but I wouldn't say they went above and beyond in service. As an example, we were celebrating our honeymoon as a lesbian couple. The hotel sent us a bottle of Cava which was lovely! But unfortunately the note was addressed as Mr and Mrs Butler, a clear oversight. Net-net, not the worst hotel but I am not going to stay again. We made the most of it.

We enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony every morning and evening. The location in Lloret de Mar was quiet, convenient and secluded.

The transportation by bus to the hotel was horrible as it didn’t drop us at the hotel but on a major road This was one of the methods of transport recommended by the hotel but I strongly disagree The food served at the restaurant was very hit and miss and not good value for money The staff were excellent and helpful

all my good impression was destroyed when we were not allowed to fill our small travel pot with a coffee during the breakfast. It was first time in my 63 years during the stay in 5 star hotel when the staff refused to put two cups of coffee into the pot to travel. We were going to travel 500 km during the day. Of course we survived. But I will never return to the hotel again.

Food and drinks are very expensive, but the quality of food is low, and the assortment is small and unchanged. The only restaurant has only a dozen tables for 50 hotel rooms. The alternative is chips at the bar. A few years ago it was an excellent five-star hotel. It was turned into a third-rate hotel for corporate parties. Noise, lack of an elementary dress code, bad taste in everything.

Excellent location, clean sea and pine forest. Friendly staff. Nothing else.

The place was old and dated, the 5* element of a stay was not there. Had to chase staff to get service. We even tested sitting in hotel bar to see how long it took for service. We sat for 1hr 30 minutes and not once was approached to take an order. No alternative food options available and when requested the knowledge of kitchen staff was limited. To their credit they tried, but really for the cost and expectation of a 5*. It fell very far from what should have been the experience.

Location is a dream and all the potential was there. Staff were very pleasant, but lacked quality of 5*.

Although the hotel is great and the staff try really hard we were really let down due to the hotel holding a private wedding party outdoors, unfortunately this did keep us awake all night as we had a very early departure the next day. The management did not pre-warn us so that we could make alternative arrangements and although I have made a formal complaint upon my return home to the hotel manager I have not had a response. Typically ythe hotel is very laid back and quiet which is why we chose this 5 star hotel so unfortunately this left a bad taste in the mouth especially has the hotel have the facilities to hold the disco indoors. We will not return for this reason

- i don't understand why this is a 5* hotel - the room was teeny and really basic, especially for the price - the facilities are fine, nothing wow - managerial staff was unhelpful, defensive, and rude - lunch is overpriced

- the location and view - dinner (the scallop linguine is out of this world) - non-manager staff was very sweet and friendly - the TV room for watching eurocup games

When we arrived the room might have not had the necessary air ventilation so it was not smelling good especially the bathroom.
