How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Layout of room. Difficult to move around because of the placement of the desk.
Breakfast was very good. Nice to have shuttle service to and from airport. Easy to get into the center of the city on one metro line.

It's far from everything
We came with a dog so they welcomed us with a treets and a comfy bed for him. The rooms were very clean and the staff was great!

Needs soundproofing! I could hear the conversations in rooms on both sides
Airport bus was good. Desk staff was good. The first room was very hot, but they moved me right away to another room.

No tea/coffee making facilities, no hair dryer.
Free airport shuttle provided. Close to MRT Line 5. There are some small eateries near by which is convenient.

Would have been nice to have in room coffee, but good coffee in the lobby.
Close to Madrid airport with free shuttle. Room was comfortable. This hotel was fine and I have no negative comments.. Beware, booking.com does not include comments from what I didn't like in their reviews.

Not fond of the glass door on the bathroom. I think the price was competitive, but it seemed pretty high.
Clean and great shuttle service. Quiet location, nice to stay there to get an early flight the next day. Restaurant is as also very good.

Lack of a kettle in the room (though all Spanish hotels I've visited didn't have one)
A lovely experience ! Lovely staff, room is big and comfy, airport shuttle is convenient (starting at 5 AM), breakfast was given to me in a picnic bag (offered by the staff). I was also offered a coffee before 5AM, while waiting for the shuttle to leave for the airport. The restaurant is open until 23:00. The room was big, spacious, and comfy, with all the necessary amenities. Highly recommended!

This place is wonderful. It’s clean, comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly. The front desk staff helped me entertain my one year year-old grandson. The meal we have a day before was excellent in their restaurant. We had to leave for the airport very early, so they were kind enough to pack an amazing breakfast for us. The young lady who drove us to the airport was very professional and got us there on time. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The next time we are in the area, we will for sure stay at this hotel.

The shuttle service is great, very convenient. A big plus is the location, very close to the airport, in a peaceful neighborhood. Good for a walk, and very close to a good supermarket. The room and breakfast were good.

Used just for a night before a very early flight. Everything that you may need for a night is there. Room was quiet. Hotel is in a "real" neighborhood, not in the middle of nowhere as many airport hotels are. Quick free transfer to the airport starting at 5am. Early breakfast available from 5am (did not use as we took the first shuttle at 5am). Did not use the restaurant, so cannot comment on that.

Not a dislike, more a recommendation. If the gym had some free weights, that would be good, as only one weight machine to use for all
The room had a kettle and there was a small gym with a couple of machines you could use. The shower was very spacious and everything was clean, even get bathrobes. Very close to airport with free shuttle that runs every 45mins

Nice hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, and in a quiet location. Toilettries provided, minibar in the room, lovely breakfast, and we enjoyed a very nice evening meal in the restaurant after a late flight. Free hotel shuttle bus to and from the airport was excellent service. Would stay again.

Service at the reception was quite slow at night. Even though we had already checked in online, we had to queue for half an hour because there was only one person at the reception.
Location was great! I’d really recommend visiting the nearby pizzerias for dinner. The free airport shuttle was also very nice.

Bathroom not isolated, only quirky glass door.
Cozy hotel in a quite residential area next to the airport, well suited for short stays in case of late arrivals or early departures. Free transfers (from 5 AM to 1 AM next day, need to be announced in person at the reception) are extremely convenient, 10 mins ride to T2.
