Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Estonia-Sofa is bad. Pillows falling apart. Didnt sleep on it -In the kitchen there wasn't even salt or sugar. This is the first apartments in our travel life with an empty kitchen . I dont ask much , but for the tourists isnt very comfortable to buy 1 litr of oil and a box of tee , just to cook 1 breackfast) -There also was a problem with the toilet. The water didnt drawn into the tank. 1 time it works , next time no. The owner said that technic man will fix it , but after it was the same. - veeeery loud in the house. I heard my kids talking even when went out for delivery pick up. And when neighbors come back home at night))))

United KingdomSingular Stays is a business operation which relies heavily on automatic messaging. 4 days before arrival I got a text from an unidentified sender asking me to click on a link to pay a sum of money. I didn't recognise the amount and deleted the text (it was in fact the cost of our accommodation plus a 200€ deposit). Later the same day I got an email requesting payment, this time recognisably from Singular Stays. I paid it, but received no acknowledgement of payment. I then got a message requiring me to check in, on an online form which showed that my payment had not been received. I was understandably concerned that my payment had gone to the wrong place, and contacted them twice to query this (by email and WhatsApp message) but they didn't reply. The day before arrival, still not having checked in, I phoned them and they confirmed receipt of my payment. But it's clear their system is not user friendly and needs more hands-on from their side. I offer this as constructive feedback as it is really in their interests to improve their interface with the "customer".
The location is outstanding, in the city centre and within easy walking distance to attractions and transport routes. The apartment is very nice and fully equipped, located in a quiet side street. It looks very much like the photos, though smaller in reality (and probably less than the claimed 700 sq ft).

It was like a treasure hunt with hints and name of streets translated into English which does not show up in map and one had to guess it's equivalent in Spanish . For example sea street does not exist in Valencia but del Mar does. Also the building number is not marked and one has to guess from the adjacent building numbers. In general a very bad experience arriving at a weekend night that telephone operators don't work and one cannot get help or clarification. Despite very good facilities I will not recommend this facility to anyone .

CanadaMore than inconvient - dangerous. 3 towels for 3 people for 3 days, coffee maker didn't work and varios kitchen items missing. The wusrt, however, was that the door locks didn't work. We had our 3 year old granddaughter with us, and this was a potentially dangerous situation. We were gobsmaker when after the office there bragged about how they had over 300 apartments under rent said our apartment was one of the worst for faulty locks, BUT the owner didn't want to repair it!!! To us , even more disturbing was that they did nothing about it. The office knew we had a toddler with us but did not warn us. After we walked from our apartment to their office, they sent someone down to fix it. They said they would bring another of their very cheap coffee makers, but nothing after 3 days.. very calous business decision. I am morbidly curious why they did nothing about this. Great inconvenience and a potentially dangerous situation. We had expe ted more from a large company.
Amazing location - 10 minute walk to the square and surrounding medieval architecture, and wonderful cafes in small alleys.
