breakfast could have muffins croissants or scones instead of government brown or white bread. Filter coffee should be available for dinners and not only for breakfast. We should be told that it is actually 47 km on a very rough dirt road prior to booking.

A lovely countryside hotel along the banks of the Breede River. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed being able to rent a padel boat to take out on the river.

Shared a geyser so had a cold shower first night. Breakfast on both morning was long as our order was messed up both mornings. Waited about 30/45 minutes for our breakfast. Waitress apologized! Di’s offer is a free drink on second morning mistakes!

Great place to continue to the Hoop Nature Reserve or explore the area there. The rooms are really great, although the rest of the rooms are from the 90s, which does have a certain charm. Unfortunately the pool was not usable during our stay. Our recommendation is to skip dinner, which is honestly not really enjoyable. The breakfast, on the other hand, is completely ok. Generally recommended if you have your own food with you. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

The interior was totally worn out and very outdated. Like a time travel far back into the the previous century. The rooms very dark and annoying was that only one of the lamps worked. It was dark age.

Not much! They could do with mugs instead of cups in the rooms and they should provide milk for tea, Coffee creamer is not suitable for tea.

The food was all pretty good but too much to do it proper justice. We were unable to have breakfast after the huge meal the night before.

Our breakfast table could have been better serviced with salt, pepper, serviettes, etc - we had to go fetch these ourselves.

Generous delicious English breakfast served on the beautiful sunny terrace overlooking the river. Cereal collection not that exciting. Dinner very tasty and ample food. 5 courses is really more than one can eat. So family friendly for us with two small boys: indoor and outdoor children’s play areas. Beds were comfortable and room clean and comfy.

Very friendly staff, huge 5-course meal included in the room rate. Exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for a stopover, not a hotel I would stay in for a couple of nights. The rooms are small and basic, but very clean.

The bait sold at the Hotel was exceptionally expensive. Would advise people to purchase beforehand.

Number 0ne the food was brilliant, both dinning rooms were very well lid and situated. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
