Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

BulgariaThe only thing that left some bitterness in me is the fact that somehow an item that we left at the hotel (a bracelet which my husband had placed under his pillow during the night and forgot to retrieve it in the morning) seemed not to have been found when I asked about it after we had checked out. However, it does not spoil my overall positive impression of the hotel.
The location was perfect. The staff at reception, the staff at breakfast were more than accommodating and beyond helpful. The compliments/treats in the room were a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was delicious and varied.

IsraelMy flight was departing late, so I wanted to take a shower after a long day in the city. Unfortunately, there was no gym available, and I could only freshen up in the restroom sink. Despite this inconvenience, the staff was very kind and provided me with a towel and soap.
I requested a quiet room and was pleased to find that my room faced the back side of the building. The room was larger than I expected and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The Nespresso coffee machine was a great bonus, with new capsules provided every day. The breakfast was a fantastic buffet with a rich menu. Room service was quick and the food was delicious, although slightly overpriced. The bathtub was wonderful and the amenities for a bath were also great. The staff was kind and supportive and provided me with restaurant recommendations and a taxi to the airport. The location was perfect and close to everything. The hotel has a storage room for the bags since my flight was not until late at night. The design of the hotel is impressive and I absolutely loved it. I can't wait to stay here again! Thank you!!

EgyptThere was one incident that marred an otherwise flawless experience. The housekeeping supervisor unexpectedly entered our room without knocking while we were inside. His explanation that he was checking the cleanliness of the room seemed inadequate, as it would have been more appropriate for him to announce himself and request entry. While this was a minor inconvenience, it did detract slightly from the overall impression of the hotel. Despite this one issue, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona. The exceptional room quality, unbeatable location, and outstanding service provided by staff like Stephanie make it a top choice for accommodation in the city.
Overall, my stay at this hotel in Barcelona was exceptional. The room exceeded expectations in every aspect, offering a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The location of the hotel was superb, providing easy access to all the attractions and amenities Barcelona has to offer. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, particularly Stephanie, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. Her recommendations added immensely to our enjoyment of the city, and her warm demeanor made us feel welcomed and valued as guests.

Location is exceptional. It is the in the right distance from the main tourist attractions ( not too close and not too far). El Nacional restaurant is very near by (had great experience dining there). Spacious room.

United KingdomWe had a wonderful stay here. Staffs are friendly, helpful and responsive. We made a couple of calls for help and the staffs just turned up at our door in few minutes with our requests. The breakfast is well severed with a choice of cold and hot foods. And the staffs are very attentive and always prepared to serve. And the location is perfect, easy access to all the shops, restaurants and famous attractions. Casa Mila and Casa Batllo are just few minutes away. And we were lucky to get a room upgrade which allow us to have a glimpse of Casa Batllo’s rooftop from the terrace in our room.

CanadaAs mentioned to the staff, the way the tv's in the room are placed makes it so it can be noisy if your neighbors watches tv (it creates a kind of soundbox in between the wall so the sound is projected in the next-door room).
The location of the hotel is really great. It's close to the tourist bus and many attractions. The room as got all the right amenities, and the beds are comfy. I had the chance to try the breakfast once and it was really good. The staff is very proactive and present when necessary.
