There was just one issue that bothered me, and probably the only reason I wouldn't give it a better mark and I would consider other options before this hotel: The extractor engine was VERY loud, specially in the room I was staying, coming from the bathroom. From 20h to 22h (cooking hours) you had a constant noise source that is the last thing you want if you're expecting silence and resting. I ended up with a headache the first day and the second one I was forced to go out in the cold for 2 hours just to avoid that...

For the price you can't ask for more! The beds and pillows have been renewed and the room was clean. There were blankets on the wardrobe and the room was cozy. There was hot water without issues and the location is amazing.

The Colombian couple who ran the hotel were fabulous, warm, friendly and helpful. Overnight stay on motorcycles - covered parking. Location of hotel ensured security. A lovely hotel in the hills with beautiful views.

The place is located on the countryside of the catalan Pyrenees and was a beautiful overnight stop on my Enduro trip across the mountains. I was able to park my motorbike directly in the garage underneath the hotel. I really liked the rustical and warm interiour design of the hotel. The restaurant is also highly reccomended. It has big windows with a lovely view into the mountains and offers a variety of tasty catalan meals. The staff is very friendly and eager to help in any way even you're only speaking a little spanish.

If you are without a car location can be on the challenging side, but the hotel is ready to help and there’s a (or rather the, because it’s one person) taxi in Ribes.

Great family owned place with several generations working together. Very friendly people always ready to help. The place is by no means new, but very cozy with its own charm. A bit of time travel and disconnect. Great nature around with multiple routes to explore. Variety of decent food at the restaurant. Cleaning is way better than in most hotels up to the 5* level we’ve been in recent years.

Hotel is a bit rundown, en suites in particular need an update, (I didn't fit in the shower !!).

Great location with great views. Bar and restaurant very comfortable and we had a great evening meal. Although the staff lacked English and my Spanish isn't the best they tried really hard to make us happy.

We had a room on the side of the hotel without views of the mountains - just a tree. Only two electric sockets in the room, and one was right behind the bed.

Nice pool and outdoor terrace. Great food and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The views from the restaurant are stunning, and the surrounding area and villages are really pretty.

We liked how remote the property was with spectacular views down the valley. The staff were very helpful and worked around a language barrier! Very good value for money for dinner and a night stay too.
