Breakfast was poor, some buffet food was overcooked. No bowls to use for cereals or fruit and yogurt. No covers to keep the flies off food.

Fabulous location and overnight stay with easy access just off N121 en route to southern Spain. Beautiful traditional building, friendly staff, nice tapas bar, great breakfast lots of choices

On arrival at 15.30 we were ignored by staff in the bar despite a sign indicating to check in with them. We were made to wait until the receptionist arrived. We have stayed at this hotel before and the room we were given this time was not as nice. It was on the roadside and was noisy and stuffy as we could not open the window due to the noise. The bathroom was very small. Access to the room was difficult for me due to mobility issues. Hot breakfast food unappetising.

The location was convenient for crossing the Pyrenees. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The tapas in the cafeteria were excellent and the waitress who served us was lovely. Breakfast was a good selection.

Despite it being June, much of the hotel was dark and not opened up to guests, such as the lounge. We ate in the bar for a better atmosphere, as we’d expected a lively restaurant, not just a dining room.

Beautiful location in green Pyrenean foothills. An historic venta with modetn facilities attached and some unusual quirky extras - a shrine, a steam engine, a pelota fronton! Large room with balcony. Great bar with food in addition to the hotel dining room. Lovely terrace fir eating out in good weather.

Hotel was easy to find, Reception was friendly and polite, the lift to our second-floor room meant easy to access our luggage, the restaurant was closed due to a party and a wedding reception the next day, but the cafeteria was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was excellent. We booked our stay as a one-night stopover on our route down to Valenciana, and we would definitely use it again.

We upgraded to a suite which was very spacious but it would have been nice to have had have some comfortable chairs to sit on and relax instead of just a couple of dining chairs

Can t really complain about anything!

Location is amazing, you need a car but you ll have a parking spot and you'll ve close to small villages and walks, 20 min drive from Irun. Breakfast is rich. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel, one is also a cafeteria. I had dinner there. Food is fresh and tasty. they were kind from the moment I arrived till the moment I left.

We had dinner in Hotel la venta on 07 August 2022. my two Friends received their dinner 10 minutes later than i received my beef cotelettes (chuletas price > 55€). However the first „chuletas“ they served were of deficient meat quality, really cheewy, full of crave and absolutely not Tender. We complained with all Respects and the kitchen assigned to prepare the dish again. The second dish they served the meat quality was ~ as expected for that Price ~ good, but instead of a breeze of salt flakes a whole hand on it. The padron tried in the end and verified it was very salty (mucho sal). However in the end we paid it because they increased pressure and told us one we had to pay. We can not recommend that speciality to anyone thus, and further they really dumped our great day by their attitude.

Couldn't fault anything !

.Excellent 1 night stay, room lovely and fresh smell, traditional and welcoming. Staff helpful and evening meal was great for all. Breakfast was a large selection and well prepared .

Our room was at the front of the hotel, facing the road. There was continuous traffic noise all evening and again early in the morning. There were also floodlights illuminating the hotel pointing straight at the windows of the bedrooms, all night! The curtains were totally inadequate at blocking out all that light. I would recommend booking one of the rooms with a balcony. They are at the back of the hotel facing the garden so there is less noise and no floodlights. I, personally, would not stay there again.

The service in the cafeteria was very slow when asked if we were ok I said no we have waited too long for our food nearly an hour within minutes our order came 10 minutes later it came again the waitress was quite surly as if everything was to much trouble there was a problem with the electric in our room it kept going on and off in five minute intervals we could read or watch tv it kicked out of our internet we have stayed 4 times at this hotel and have always been delighted we did complain at the start if our stay but nothing was done we couldn’t even use the bathroom without the power going off we were offered a bottle of wine as compensation we declined
