For the price, the place was tiny and not super clean. Also, the listing lied: none of the rooms have private bathrooms. And the dog in the hostel bites everyone :(

- Shower sprayed water in all directions and a little aggressive. - Bathroom sink very small with almost broken tap.

- Very friendly staff (who speak perfect English) - Lovely area (safe and easily accessible by public transport) - Lift and stairs to get to the hostel. - Free towels and basic toiletries - TV in room - Felt more like a hotel than a hostel because of private room and en suite which was great.

Sound isolation is bad, we were lucky that hostel was not busy and it wasn't noisy, but if there will be people in the hall you would definitely hear them from your room.

cleanliness was meh, the shower stall leaked and you had to point the head at the wall or risk flooding the bathroom

It was very hard to find an available shower at peak times. Also trying to sleep on Saturday night was challenging. My room was close to one of the shared toilets and you could hear drunk guests being sick.

Excellent location, a few meters to many nice bars and well communicated to get to main sights in Barcelona. Toilets were well kept in general and the staff was friendly.

Our room was at 5th floor, no lift available. The total steps to get there should be 126 if I counted correctly, to repeat multiple times a day :) Now, this is not an issue if you are healthy and strong, but might not be feasible for some. Also, it could be a bit annoying if you forget something in the room. The room wasn't very clean on our arrival and on 3 occasions there was no hot water. Despite the efforts of the staff to fix it, the issue persisted. Having said that, the stay was very pleasant and enjoyable.

The staff was excellent, kind, helpful and always available. The Hostel provides a lovely common/ kitchen area and the location is good with easy access to public transport.

Being in an excellent location means the road is quite noisy, so if you're a light sleeper you need earplugs, but it was well worth it to be on Diagonal, between great neighbourhoods.

The hostel manager was very friendly and helpful, the location was great- just on the edge of trendy Eixample & lovely Sarria. The room was simple but for a hostel it was perfectly good and had everything we needed.

the kitchen was not really usable, no good cooking ware, sadly nothing that would accommodate the cooking experiences like basic spices or oil (which I don’t buy traveling somewhere for a few days), barely any tea, really dirty kettle, … Also no sunlight in the room, which was very sad, the window went into a closed of yard, basically facing a wall (typical for Spain sometimes tho), pictures suggested otherwise

the hangout area was nice and pretty, staff was friendly and 24/7 available, room was comfy, with air conditioning
