Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Finland- you have to pay for everything here: 14 Eur/day for parking, 2 Eur per stay for bathrobe, you have to pay for phone call to reception for booking/rebooking, information! - Our room does not have a window...for that price! Yes, it was written that with Superpark view, but they did not mentioned there that there will be no real window to outside world, and you have to check weather on internet as you cannot see outside if you need a raincoat or not... Price for that kind of room is too big without real window, it should be at least 1/3 cheaper. - very cheap and hard toilet paper - old bathroom with the cheapest shower hose/head where the flow of the water was super weak - no heater/radiator element where you can dry your wet clothes. Come on, this is a Spa hotel, so they should anticipate this situation that family of 4 have a lot of wet bath clothes...right? - very weak / not functioning Wi-Fi (our room was on very edge of the hotel - n.244) so I have to purchase 4G SIM card from Finnish mobile operator. - a very long distance from the room to outside world with the dog, it will be better to have a room much closer to the entrance - ALL POOLS HAVE THE SAME DEPTH = 130cm, so there is no possibility for smaller kids (6-12 years old) to learn how to swim safely, or just stand there and relax, or for example throwing/catching the ball. (I do not count the pools for babies) --> so main 2 pools, swimming pol, outside pool, all have the same depth - distance from the sauna to outside cold/cool small pool is too far (ca 100m), where first you have to cross whole inside pool area with 1 level down, and then another 30m to the pool. (in Nokia there is small cold pool from the sauna just 15 steps! far away). - as a hotel guest once you enter the pool area, you have to walk across the pools, via the showers back to the changing rooms...crazy...you cannot enter the changing room first.
We (family of 2+2) have stayed at Scandic Eden Nokia Spa hotel last 3 Eater holidays. This year we decided to try another hotel - Holiday Club Turun Caribia which is more than 50% more expensive so the expectations were higher. I will compare those two hotels as rivals: + location very near to city center of Turku and beside to Super park (kids inside playground) + nice K-market just 200m from the Hotel opened 7:00-22:00 + very good breakfast with a big selection of everything also for gluten free / vegan people + dedicated swimming pool (16.7m long) for swimmers and aqua aerobic + large jacuzzi for more people and space for swimming for kids + outdoor swimming pool with a warm water (in Nokia is much colder water outside) + 2x quite long slide with tubes that you sit on + we have had quite big family room

FinlandPool opening time and breakfast time were overlapping. I would like to first get into the pool in the morning before 10:00, and then get the breakfast. Somehow the pool opening time is 10:00 onward.
Breakfast was full of options, really liked it. The timing was suitable. It was really good to see food options for little ones, so happy about it. The indoor activities were good enough to relax and enjoy the weekend.

FinlandThere were no tea or coffee facilities in my room. No minibar. Only one of the three restaurants was open (the others are closed from Monday to Thursday), and it was a sport pub with non-stop ice hockey on tv (not my style).
Very friendful staff, clean room and comfortable bed, good breakfast. I got a free upgrade to a better room.

RussiaPaid parking (1,5 €/hour, or 14€/24 hours), paid bathrobes and slippers, and even paid calls to the reception, which I met for the first time in my life. We did not need it, just were surprised by that fact. In SPA pools you cannot switch on the massage when you need it, everything switches on and off automatically. So you have to wait for about 10 min when some zone will be working. It was very cold in the shower room! In comparison with another SPA hotel in Imatra, price is almost 2 times higher, but the quality is lower, unfortunately.
The room is clean, the breakfast is OK. R-Kioski is available near the reception. Not too much people in the pool, and the design of the swimming pool is nice.

ItalySome facilities could be a bit clearer for foreign tourists with some language challenges. All good in the end ;)
Staff was amazing and very helpful, all of them, even with the language barrier. Position was great, even if outside the center was well served by public transport and anyway easily reachable by foot.

DenmarkWiFi didn't work and there was nothing they could do about it until "the technicians" would come a few days later. There was a loud ventilator in the room that I had to turn off via a finnish-labeled switchboard in the middle of the night to even be able to sleep.
It was a pleasant place, but the room wasn't any more nice than the student apartments across the street, which cost a tenth as much. They certainly didn't go out of their way to make it luxurious. For some reason I had expected golden faucets for that kind of money. I could have bought a new tent and thrown it away every day and still saved money. The room was fairly small and had almost no space besides the beds. The staff was very nice and tried to accommodate your wishes, but couldn't do everything. The included breakfast was fine, but not exhilarating considering the price. A bit soggy, and options for someone on a paleo diet were limited.

FinlandHotel rooms quite outdated and spa would need also a little renovation. Our visit was obviously on the most busiest time, pools and showers and saunas were full of screaming children with their families. Only quick visit due to that. No night tables in room, had to place mobile phone and water glass on floor. No fridge. Surprisingly bathrobes were not included in the room price.
Location is good and if you don’t feel like visiting the city, you can stay at the hotel, restaurants and kiosk inhouse. Aircondition in rooms.

FinlandThe room was very hot at night. The air conditioner didn't work and when we told them the room is too hot, they said air conditioner doesn't work and they can't do anything. We paid for 4 start hotel (quite expensive) but it was disappointing. I don't know maybe they give the worst room when people reserve through booking! Maybe booking should do s.th about this problem. Why we should get the worst rooms when reserve the room in booking!??????.
