The feel for it being a 5 star wasn't there, facilities are all there but very pricey. Rooms are small. No locks on bathroom doors.

It longer than expected for our room to be ready. Yes we arrived early, but we were told a couple of times it would be ready at x times, only for this not to be the case.

The Sofitel was a great place to finish our trip to Fiji. The kids loved the slide and the pools and the kids club was excellent, giving us time to enjoy the resort kid free.

Taste of the food was average. Considering the low pricing of the food I think it was not too bad compared to their value, but still I would expect something more. Deep fried stuff were disappointing (even fries).

Friendly staff and great atmosphere and pools. Great for couples who seek quiet times (Waitui Beach Club), also awesome for family with young kids. We will definitely visit with kids again in the future 😊

Our toilet almost overflowed. Our aircon wasn’t working properly and we had to our towels all over the floor to mop up the wet. We had a disappointing meal at Solis restaurant- the seafood salad was saturated with the pesto sauce and list the delicate seafood flavours.

Very generous buffet for breakfast and dinners. The pool was very clean as were the towels.

It's pretty expensive for what you get. The beach is not particularly appealing with grey sand etc and if you don't have kids you definitely want to check out the adults-only section in the main part of the hotel is pretty hectic. Also, no aircon in the main restaurant is quite intense.

Everything was very clean and nice. The staff were friendly and helpful in true Fijian style. The food was excellent and our room was comfortable with good aircon etc. Personally, I prefer the smaller resorts on the islands, but this was great for 1 night on our way back from the islands before heading to the airport the next day.

There was a slight insecticide smell on the bed, but I think it can't be helped.

Even though I made a last-minute reservation on the day of my stay, they accommodated me courteously. The staff were very helpful, for example quick to help with arranging transportation to the airport.

This is a beautiful hotel. The breakfast is amazing. There is a huge variety of food. We loved our stay at Sofitel. Nice bars, pool and beachside cabanas.
